I'll put my comments here, I am a Wade supporter and thus support this move, but now if this franchise will win a Super Bowl with this talent, more than likely it will come on Wades' hands. I support him and believe he can do it as early as next year.
What happens with Garrett though?

The Cowboys will continue with a head coach who looks lost most of the time on the sidelines. And an offensive coordinator who never makes adjustments and is very predictable....
Draft will be another version of Scrubs (aka last year draft) given the coaches and scouts. Offensive line getting old and is not even average anymore...Romo chokes more than drowning victims...RW is like Wile E Coyote, can't catch (for Coyote it is the Roadrunner, for RW it is the football...but same results).
Sad for the fans, who continue to expect different and better results from the same group doing the same things (insane really).

Also when we added Gerald Sensabaugh.
Did Wade have a bit better feel for when to call a certain defense than Stewart? Yea, he did, but Wade always will have because he has 20 years experience on the kid. Who called Landry's offenses?
Another Wade critic who has no clue about what Wade really does.... How do you know how he addresses anything? How many practices have you sat through? How many team meetings?
Wade has stated plenty of times he meets with Jason to go over game plans weekly. He doesn't interfere during games but he does go over what the game plan is in advance of being put in for the week.
A lot of folks don't like Wade's style and that's fine but it is his "style" in press conferences because they are clueless as to his style in a meeting room or on the practice field.
Those close ups during the Minny game were of him dropping f-bombs not saying golly gee. But he has enough class to not take that to the masses in a press conference. He also screamed at Campo a few times this year because guys were out of place but again he isn't gonna bring that to a press conference.
Wade was clear day 1 he wasn't going to scape goat anyone and that he'd treat these guys as family. At the same time he has overseen a fair amount of turnover so they aren't just getting lifetime passes.
End of the day the best asset any team can have is good young players and this defense is loaded there. Ware/Spencer/Jenkins/Scandrick/Sensabaugh/Ratliff is a heck of a defensive nucleus and we have 4 young defenders returning from the past draft class.
The offense is obviously going to get some draft help this year and let's hope we have improved scouting along the OL.
We've won the 4th most games in the NFL since we hired Wade. We took the first step in making that count in the post-season. This is a team headed in the right direction.

1. The cowboys were one of the 4 best teams in the NFC
2. Our offense was highly rated
3. Our defense were highly rated
4. We have had some really good young talent start showing up
While I was hoping for some magic wand that would make everything better as well.........We aren't some average to bad team
Disturbed;3245309 said:We were one of the 8 best teams, not 4. They play this weekend. And we couldn't even be competitive, much less win....so I am more than a little bummed by the fact that the Cowboys have been embarrassed in the last game the past two years. Being highly rated means nothing if you can't win...
Woods;3245216 said:I think even Andy Reid admitted that the Cowboys were a very physical team. (Wish we were a bit more physical on the OL vs. Minn, but that's a different discussion. )
The way our Defense has been playing the last couple of months, I don't think anyone can say we're "soft". And we should only get better with guys like V Butler, B Williams, J Williams, etc. developing.
Doomsay;3245324 said:I wish that we were a little meaner. The Vikings softened Romo up with a bunch of late hits well before they got any sacks, I really didn't see much of that from our guys in the game, some good sacks, but it seemed like we could have taken a few more shots given what the Vikes were subjecting Romo to. Spears really had a chance to bury Favre and whiffed on that back breaking TD scramble.
