It’s pretty simple.

Dallas wins out and Philly loses either game we win the East and would be the 2 because we would have beat Detroit
Beating Detroit will take a yeoman's job to complete. They are designed much like San Fran. Big, fast, physical and tough.

what changed in 1 week?

We lost our 2nd AFC game.

Philly's only AFC loss was to the Jets.

So if our records end up being the same, we'll have a better conference record and will therefore win tiebreaker.

I have a good feeling about that game.
You never know in football. It would crush Philly mentally. They'd go from a potential playoff run of at home vs the 7 seed to at home versus Detroit to at Tampa, at Dallas, at San Fran.

Dallas wins on conference tiebreaker.
Right. Eagles have lost to 49ers, Seahawks and us. A loss to the Cardinals puts them at four in the conference.

We've lost to 49ers, Eagles and Cardinals. So if we beat Detroit, we have the conference tiebreaker.

Did you not watch the cowboys?
I sure did. They lost a 2 point game on the road to a good team. That game could have gone either way. The Cowboys showed that that they can compete on the road. They certainly can win at Tampa or at Philly.

Nor would it take an A. O. G. for Dallas to lose to Detroit and/or Washington
The Cowboys should win both games and it wouldn't surprise me if they end up winning the division or winning at Tampa and I think that any of the playoff teams can win the 1st playoff games.

The Cowboys should win.
Dallas thrives at home for whatever reason. What most people don't realize is a win/loss doesn't change their seeding (unless Philly loses) but a win gives Philly the 2 seed and an easy road to the NFC Championship where they will get smashed by San Fran or Dallas.

I agree......they should have won that game if not for mental errors. We'll see if zona or the giants can give us some help! The tyron back issue popping up again is discouraging though......

True, but that's not happening.
It might. West coast teams don't do well on early east coast games and the Rams can beat the 49ers. The 49ers have some issues now and I doubt they win the NFC if they have multiple injuries to their offensive line.

Philly must win both of their games and it won't be easy for them. They could win , but it won't be easy for them and they look like a team that won't win in the playoffs.

If these are the teams that make the playoffs in the NFC, I think all the roads teams could win the first round games or at least 2 out of the 3 can win them.

This is actually somewhat favorable because we will beat Tampa. There's a pretty good chance the Rams upset the Lions and that should leave us heading to Philly for the divisional round.

Best case scenario we don't have to face the niners until the conference championship.
wht makes you think that dallas will beat baker mayfield and the bucs

Cardinals and Giants? They'll be double digit favorites this n both games.

I'm not a big believer in Baker, and they destroyed Tom Brady a year ago. The Bucs pass defense is less than impressive. I dont believe they can stop us nor light up the score board. We are the more talented team.

What makes you think we can't beat them? Our road record alone isn't enough for me. They will be ok in the wildcard round. The divisional round has an entirely different feel.
