I don't know how to edit video but if someone would put together a list, or edited clip of this silliness, i'll be glad to help spread it through Facebook. My twitter isn't great but I can "tag", maybe someone cool will share it.

One should go back to last years playoff game, heck even this years regular season game..........how long has this technique been taught?..........How long has their OLine coach been on board? that would likely give the timeline

Does anyone remember the 1995 NFC Championship game where they allowed Erik Williams to put his hands in Reggie White's face all day? I'm talking about inside his face mask. They also allowed to pick play from Novacek that set up a long Deion play and they also called back a few touchdowns for Green Bay. One was an interception. I think we just got paid back.

No. We paid back in 2014.

I dunno. Seems pretty obvious in real time too. In this clip, you can see exactly what the article is talking about. Each tackle slaps the outside shoulder pad. But here it results in a chokehold. I don't think that the outside slap somehow makes it not holding. It's still holding.

Especially with the ref standing no more than 6-8 feet away looking right at it.

Just like the Lamebo leap, the NFL is allowing the GB OLine to hold. It's been grandfathered in.

This is maddeningly blatant.
They all are. How can anyone watch these kinds of plays (with the referee staring no less) and not question whats going on. This is the kind of crap that opens the league up to questions of integrity whether its true or not.

I've felt similar and heard similar about the 2006 NBA finals. Then Tim Donaghys book comes out (the referee who was fixing games) with this excerpt.

i knew from the get go that dallas didn't have a chance in the nba finals. people in the nba front office had no love for cuban and the majority of the nba referees had even less. in the 2006 nba finals the mavs won the first two games of the series against the miami heat at home. as the series began shifting back to miami the league office began flooding game 3 and game 4 referees with video plays from games 1 and 2 that the higher ups felt should of been called in favor of miami. the message was predictable and very clear: miami was going to have an advantage in its own building, thus prolonging the series and socking it to mark cuban. with millions of dollars of network revenue on the line, a sweep by the mavs was out of the question. in game 5, the referees handed miami a tremendous advantage by awarding the heat 49 free throws during the contest, compared to just 25 for dallas. in the nba, its tough enough for one teams five palyers to beat another teams five. but when its five against eight, and three of the eight are referees, forget about it-you've got no shot!

Now everyone loves to act all tough and make absurd statements about how they're just bad and bias doesn't happen or hiw the referees didn't beat us the Packers did and so on. Why are we to believe it's not possible or doesn't happen when it did for years in the NBA and stuff like what @theogt posted happens over and over? It's the NFLs fault for opening those questions up anyways with piss poor refereeing, at best.

What's a little tug? It's not like this was a critical 3rd down that would have ended a scoring drive for Green Bay or anything. But I guess it's our fault we can't fight through people dragging us by our jerseys.

Absolutely ridiculous

Yet some morons on here will comment how they hate it when other blame the refs and pretend everything is fair and balanced. This is such crap. Im watching the Cowboys and no one else. I will support my team and only support the nfl product as much as I have to.

The refs have a decison to make a call or ignore a call. They choose to ignore those calls on GB's oline. Believe me, our fanbase is not the first to complain about it. But then again, it is said that they could call a holding on every offensive line in every game at every snap.

Sickening....just sickening.

Somebody really should make this a youtube video and make it go viral.

Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel published a very interesting article today that goes into great detail, and essentially validates, that most of us haven't dreaming it up when it looks like the Packers OL is holding on every play.

Article can be found here: http://www.jsonline.com/story/sport...protection-technique-drawing-praise/96847704/

According to McGinn's sources on other teams, the Packers have evidently come up with a new blocking technique thzt skirts so close to the line of holding / not holding that they aren't getting called for it.

Other teams have noticed it to the extent that they plan to emulate the Packers next next season.

Remember, this his a home town, 'Pro Packer' news organization publishing this. Kinda letting the secret out of the bag.

I would have published it in the 'NFL' Forum, however, the 'Packers holding' topic is interwoven in many of the threads we've had here on CZ in the past week and I thought it was relevant to the Cowboy in that way.

Summary: Yes, the Packers OL holds on just about every play -- especially their excellent LT (Bakhtiari) -- who is already an excellent pass blocker, never mind the fact that, according to the article, has absolutely perfected this new technique.

Yep. I knew it. All the people clamoring that Dallas lost fair and square are wrong.

Holding is holding. And they aren't as good at hiding it as the article claims because I counted 9 holds that weren't called as the game was playing.

It looks like holding. It is holding. But the refs won't call it. And the pictures floating around of holds on Irving and rear naked choke holds on that 30 yard pass were in plain sight and obvious.

And now the better team (us by far), that plays honest football, based on talent and hard work, isn't playing. And cheaters are. It's a tainted game and another tainted playoffs. The NFL used to stand for something great. It's just a joke now.
