Hearing that several years ago forever damaged my view of David Lee Roth ..
I agree and after what the Van Halen brothers said about Michael Anthony I wouldn't be in the same room with them.First.. I will believe when it actually happens.
Second... If it happens it will be either VERY limited tour or the tour will not finish as DLR will drive the other guys crazt to the point of canceling the tour.
We got pretty much duped when a "new" van Halen cd was coming out only to find out it was pretty much a remastered demo tape.
I know the Van Halen cd with the Extreme singer did not work out but frankly VH should had tried other singers or the very least the band could have put out an instrumental cd out.
One would think that all of the years without a VH cd would have meant tons of great riffs and song (music wise) available but again they went with a remaster of old stuff and I would not be shocked that even if they did come out with new stuff that the band would do their parts in one stiludio and DLR would do his separate in another.
I don't think they can work together too closely for long. I have heard that Eddie, a little of Alex as well, is very paranoid about stuff and of course DLR can great on anyone's nerves after a bit.
This is the Van Halen I love .
My wife and I saw The Eagles on their reunion tour back in the 90s. Great show! Might be a little old for this one.
Those are 8 candidates for Carnivore Chow on the Ark.I was a little embarrassed watching that. I'm glad no one caught me watching it.
I even though the original "Jump" was stupid and back then Van Halen was one of my top three bands.
And they were never able to duplicate Anthony's harmonies.I agree and after what the Van Halen brothers said about Michael Anthony I wouldn't be in the same room with them.
As far as DLR goes. I literally wanna punch him in the face when I see his interviews.
I remember about 10 years ago they were rumored to get back together but David Lee Roth wanted to go into the studio and record new material and the Van Halen brothers only wanted to do a greatest hits tour.
