If Fangio is so great why did the Dolphins have the 22nd ranked defense and why are the Dolphins getting rid of him. This guy is not going to make a difference.
I can't speak for him. As for the Dolphins, they were eaten up by injuries on the defensive side of the ball all year not much different than Philadelphia. As for firing Miami did not fire him. He asked for a release, and mutually agreed to depart. He probably wanted to go back to Pennsylvania where his family is from, and coach in Philadelphia since there is an opening. Remember he was supposed to be the DC last year, but their DC said he was staying, and then after Fangio signed with Miami Gannon took the head coaching job in Arizona.
