Of course. That is why it is so popular. You can resume download at any time. If you are gonna watch the vid, make sure you are watching the copy. Copy the vid into another folder and watch it. Don't mess with the original vid since it is still in the download process.

Actually, you can watch the original vid while it's still DLing (that's if you have a lot of it (99.8% or so)). As long as you don't change the files name or tamper with it, viewing it is fine. If it doesn't play, then close the torrent client and try viewing it. It should play either way, just make sure to restart the client afterwards so that you can continue to UL your parts.

Can't figure that one out. My 99.8% stopped after the start of the 4th quarter. I see the original seeder has left. It could possibly be that he/she realized that the file was incomplete, and has decided to redo it. If so, we'll all have to start all over again. Hopefully, the seeder will just UL an amended vid to pick up where this one left off. However, it seems that it's stopping at different points for different people. So, who knows?

Mine tells me Windows Media Player cannot play the file. I also got to 99.8% and now it has stopped. It says it doesn't have the right codec. Is XviD a totally different codec I have to download?

Yeah, just do a google search for it and DL it. It's a popular codec, so it's not hard to find.

I got it fixed gimme a sec and I will start seeding.

The torrent was jacked up so the guy had to create a new one. In utorrent right click on the game and select Remove and delete torrent (dont delete data). Then download the new torrent and when it asks you to save point it to the location you downloaded to before. It will then resume and there are 2 seeds currently including myself.

Drat - I tried to restart like you said DBoys, but it gave me an error that said the file data size too large or something. Anyway, I just deleted and started over. There seems to be plenty of seeds now, and even with the wait because of my hotel, I can wait for another day.

I had the same problem with the 99.8% stoppage........tried to replace it but must have goofed it......


just started over.......thanks for the help though.......I probably would have just let it try for a while if you hadn't posted there was a problem.
