I've seen teams since the late 50s. There is no team comparable to the early 90s Cowboys. Some are close but I just can't say the words out of my mouth. You know who they are. But those guys were blessed with enough talent to win despite them screwing up off the field.
I'm tired of hearing about their determination. With the talent of the skilled players like Novachek, Aikman, Smith, and Irvin along with perhaps the most dominant offensive and defensive lines (both not one or the other) ever seen then how could they fail. Sure Switzer would have not gotten 3 or 4. Many coaches wouldn't. It took someone to put the fear of God in them. They were afraid of Jimmy. They can talk all the buzz words they want but they won with the determination of fear and a talent level overall not ever seen in this league. Neverever.
We do lack their fire and their leaders. And we don't have their depth or overall talent even though not far behind skill wise. Our OL and DL aren't as dominant.
We're still in the hunt. They need to fear to fail.
