Video: Is Marty B griping about his role on Cowboys?

I listened to it carefully and in my judgment there is nothing in this. He said all the right things. He does need more opportunities if he's going to catch 30+. He isn't getting targeted that much. I'm not saying that is good or bad just what it is. For him to stand out more he's got to get targeted more. And catch the majority of them just to put a little balance in this report.

I wish there was a segent in there where he said I have work harder on my preparation. And I have to stop dropping passes. And as long as my blocking helps the team win I don't care how many passes I catch because I know I am not the primary TE..

I don't think any of you guys watched the video. He wasn't griping about his role with the Cowboys, what I got from it was in the last few seconds of the video with him saying that he was expecting a breakout season and that didn't happen. Now going into his 3rd season he has to wonder if it's the system or him before the marriage possible ends.

I know he's an idiot at times but in this video he's calm and voicing his opinion although Steve Denis is trying his hardest to bait him.

I saw the count at 7, but even worse was that he only caught about 50 percent of the balls thrown at him. Witten was somewhere around 77 (Tops among TE's that were in for at least 50% of the offensive snaps) and John Phillips was at 71% caught. Though with much fewer attempts - Phillips wasn't even in 25% of our plays run last year.

Bennett was targeted 29 times all year.

For those that care:
Roy Williams caught 45% (84 Targets)
Crayton caught 58% (64 Targets)
Miles caught 67% (120 Targets)

Ogletree caught 87% (8 Targets)
Hurd caught 58% (12 Targets)
