I had a quick look at the Ravens 2006 and 2007 drafts as they were one of the teams quoted. I didn't have the time to do any more. All quoted positions are from the Ravens Depth chart on their website. Any mistakes will be my bad eyesight.

Anthony Spencer is an impact player.

Miles Austin is an impact player.

Sam Hurd is an impact player.

Stephen Bowen is an impact player.

Deon Anderson is an impact player.

Doug Free is an impact player.

Jason Hatcher is an impact player.

Not my fault you don't know what impact means. It means if you went to anyone on the team and said that ________________ had no impact on the team you would probably be laughed at. It takes 53 players to make a team. It is really just that simple.

I'm sure the Steelers and Pats have had some terrible draft classes in the past 5-6 years. That's just how it works. It sucks that we don't have alot of depth but that's what the waiver wire and FA is there for.

Personally, my favorite thing about this whole thread is the constant back tracking and point changing by Mr. Fanatic. It cracks me up, he posts a video that is all about two "bad" drafts, which is arguable to start with, but when his whole theory is blown to bits by people like Tomson and Hostile, his whole point changes to "well, we haven't won a superbowl"

Sorry Mr. Fanatic, like Hostile had to say several times, that just doesn't fly with me. Which is it? Did we have "bad" drafts, or are you just mad that we haven't won a playoff game in "172" years? Let me assure you that the two have very very little to do with each other. The Boys have drafted as well or better than just about any team in the league over the last 5 years. Go back and look at the past few New England drafts, it read like a whos who of garbage football players. They're winning playoff games consistently.

It also cracks me up that your original point had to do with those two drafts being directly responsible to our lack of depth, yet Watkins, Ball, Brown, Free, and Carpenter are all solid back ups for this team. Go back and look at lots of other teams drafts, its pretty rare that a team keeps that many draft picks from one draft even past thier first year, let alone two, or three. Thats not to mention your assessment of Spencer being so premature its mind boggling, or given all the kicker issues we've had for years, your complete regard for the impact that Folk has had.

And what did all these awesome drafts do for us?

Zilch. We haven't won a playoff game in 172 years.

This place is annoying because the homers are too blind to see that drafting players who can be and should and will be are players who are being and are doing.

Bunch of homers with mentality that is ok with winning nothing.

The Dallas Cowboys have drafted players. How many or the players that all of you love have one playoff win on their resume as a Dallas Cowboy?

This carries so much weight. A lot of fans have never played organized football and really are clueless when it comes to the actual game. When I read posts of fans freaking out over traing camp or depth, its clear they don't have a full concept of the game or how a team is made up. They act as if our backups will have to play games as a unit by themselves. Unbelievable!!!!!

This is laughable. Stanback, Ball, brown, and watkins are fighting for their lives just to make the team, forget about making an impact. Marten is already gone.

That leaves Carpenter who hasn't made an impact, Hacther whom if he's made an impact earlier would've pushed Greg Ellis out of here sooner.

Mcquistian hasn't proved to be a solid player to me. Spencer like i've stated is a work in progress, not a bust, but he needs to get moving.

Again, with the exception of Folk these two classes look bad.
