I spoke too soon. I have no video, just music and a light show. Good music though.

You are missing some codec's.

Download them, and you'll get video.

you probably need them codecs, Hos. I think CowboyMike provided links on the first page.
I'm going to wait until I get home.

Graphics stuff just flat out kicks my butt.

Literally, all you have to do is download it, install it, then reopen up the video you just download.

It would take all of 5 minutes, if you have the time (and then another 6:30 to watch the video)

Open a command line and type the following:

sudo apt-get install mplayer libxine-extracodecs

Once it's installed, right click on your file and choose play with MPlayer.

I took your advice and I'm glad I did.

Tek, I agree with others, you should get a copy of that to Tony Romo.

I'm happy for you that you got to see it. That's how good this thing is.

TEK, I'm linking your site and video at other forums I visit.

Good move. I think all of them should see it.

Ok, I Keep watching this over and over, and have also shared it with all the Cowboys Fans that I know. This has to be one of the greatest releases ever done on The Zone, and in general that I am aware of. Well done!

The song is from The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers trailer. Originally done on the Requiem for a Dream Soundtrack.

Yea, I get chills listening to the music. It brings back scenes from Requiem for a Dream everytime I hear it.

Excellent job on the video.

:laugh2: I think I have already watched it at least 10 times already, and when I get on to the computer tomorrow...I'll probably have to watch it...again!

Truly a work of art.

And yes I am now ready for Jerry to put that new deal in place.

How could any Cowboy fan watch that video and not feel that the QB job is in more than capable hands with Romo.

Doesn't any talk about a "bus driver" seem absurd?

Several points to make.

  • Great musical score.
  • Love the high quality video.
  • The music queued with the flim; very good timing.
  • Overall excellent quality and very enjoyable.

As for Romo, while he made a lot of mistakes, there a scary level of brilliance in his game, but obvisously a level of chaos there too. Many people have compared him to Farve and you can see flashes of it. I just hope he doesn't suffer from some of the things that Farve did throughout his career. Like pressuring himself into bad throws. Anyone else ever noticed that when Farve would throw an INT; he would usually end up throwing around 2 more in that game. He hardly every would throw just one. They came in packs of three.

:hammer:

I don't understand how this thread can for from being one of the brightest threads of the summer, to having a fan throw mud on it. Tek did an AMAZING job on this video "makes me kinda jealous he's that talented" and someone has to try and ruin it.

Sometimes, just sit back and enjoy things, don't try and analyze.

TEK2000, you are a true genius.

Thanks for all of the outstanding compliments fellas!! I'm really really glad that all (except bbgun) of you are enjoying it so much. The fact that all of you fellow Cowboys fans are enjoying it so much makes it work my time!!!

Hostile: I'm sorry you had so much trouble man! If I had been on a computer today to help out I would have done whatever it takes to get the problem resolved.
A great video player that, I believe, doesn't require the installation of codecs is the VLC Media Player from www.videolan.org. Its a small program and works great playing A LOT of different video/audio file formats.

I use IE so I had no idea that Firefox had issues with my site. The .pl file is simply a script that counts each file download on my server. I just use it for the stats page on my site... kind of a "Top 25 list" for people that are not willing to download all videos but want to see the best/most downloaded videos.

As for the forced "right click" on my site, its simply something I did to make sure people didn't just keep playing the videos over and over again by clicking the links on my site. It forces you to SAVE the video rather than just "fake" stream it.
If this is a problem for a lot of people using Firefox, please let me know. I'll do away with it.
