Video: Top 9 Plays Of 2006

I agree 100%! I get all Dick Vermiel choked up when I see Austin's expression. It's great to see a kid so excited that he's making a big play in a big-time game, and just seeing the sheer joy of the moment on his face gives me a warm feeling. That single play might just become my all-time favorite Cowboys highlight because Miles' expression was priceless.:D

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

There's not much point in putting it on ******* because the person that puts it on there might have their account suspended. ******* will just delete it and MIGHT take action against the uploader's account.

Anyway, I wish I had stayed up a little later last night Theebs so I could check out the video. DOH! Anyway, I'm downloading the full quality version now but Megaupload is running pretty slow right now.
57kb/s download speed. ugh!

Can't wait to watch it after reading all the great feedback people are giving.

awesome vid theebs! d-ware is such a great player if wade can make him better, than opposing offenses better look out!

thanks

I agree. I have believed since camp ware is our best player. I love the guy.

I'm very impressed Theebs! That was incredibly well done!

1) The Julius Jones run... your editting on that was just perfect. I loved the way you cut back and forth between the different angles during the run instead of just showing it straight thru with only 1 angle. VERY VERY NICE!

2) The use of the pictures and the quotes goes a LONG way in telling the story. That was a great idea.

3) The Brad Sham audio.. I always love hearing that. I know that must take a LOT of time to track down the exact play during the game and cut it to match it with the video clip. Just outstanding!

4) You've got a ton of footage that you captured during the season with all of the postgame footage and stuff. Great editting on the Picture in Picture stuff with the postgame interviews.

5) I loved the intro (as I told you before). It looked like you put a lot of the great plays that didn't quite make it into the top 9 in the intro... a very nice touch and I love the split screen effect.

This is definitely the best video I've seen just highlighting a few plays. Its so different from the normal highlight videos because it really tells the story of the play and shows it completely with commentary by the players involved on many of the plays.

The ONLY thing I would do next time (and this thought just occured to me as I was typing this reply)... maybe pick plays that impacted the outcome of the game in favor of the Cowboys and point out the details of how it impacted the game... like the score, time of the game and scenario of what was going on leading up to that particular play. Not that all of us die-hard fans NEED to be reminded about the great plays of the year... but it sure is refreshing to be taken back through them after the season is over.

I've still got a good bit of work left to do before I finish my defense video... I better really step it up cuz you're work is putting me to shame now. :)

Thanks man I really really appreciate it.

That is a great idea with the plays that impacted the game. That is like the stuff they do on hbo's inside the nfl. It is a great storytelling angle. The problem is doing for a whole season would make an enormous vid!!!!!

I was cutting stuff out at the end of this one to try and make it small!!!

thanks again. I look forward to that defense vid and the skins game is going out with the other stuff tomorrow!

Man... I'm spending as much time as I can possibly afford trying to cut the highlights from each game. Its gonna be a couple more weeks at least. I'm really busy these days so I don't get a lot of time to spend on working on video stuff each evening.

I've got lots of ideas going for a defense video and its already in the works... just gotta finish cutting the highlights from the last few games of the season before I can finally finish it.

brad sham sucks as a commentator. he always sounds like he's falling asleep. you guys overrate sham way too much

Theebs I thanked you before, but I just wanted to thank you again. Especially for making the players in the photos come to life. Awesome work my friend!
