Procter literally gets lifted into the air at times.

The Cowboys had better give him a lot of help with Haloti Ngata this Saturday against the Ravens.

If they don't I fear Procter may get launched out of Texas Stadium at some point.

WAsnt Tuck shut down in the second half of the game? Procter sucked but I think he pulled it together in the second half

Yeah he does.

Wouldn't it have been great if he had been doing it all along for the last two years since that's the primary reason he was brought to Dallas by Jerry Jones.

:bang2:

The defense has improved steadily over the last 2 years since Wade's been in town, to the point where right now it's playing as well as any team in the league. You have nothing to complain about on that score.

It's also the case, like so many around her mentioned so often, that the defense is playing the way it's designed to now that it finally has it's key players--rush LB and cover CB--back in the lineup. But who's picking nits?

I think what Wade meant was:

  • Proctor didnt get BEAT on EVERY single play so thats a plus:rolleyes:
  • Romo isnt dead.... yet

while Procter did better after he got help, i seem to recall a blitz up the middle that got to Romo with Gurode sliding over to help Procter...we should'nt kid ourselves...Procter makes the entire line weaker and he will be a liability for the remainder of the season if Holland can't return...Romo was under horrific pressure and was lucky to escape with just a back contusion...barrages like Sunday night could send Romo back to the bench with injury BEFORE any playoff games...with the Ravens and Eagles on deck there is legitimate cause for concern

I am surprised to hear of Wade's appraisal of Proctor. But Wade knows what he's talking about and has watched the film, so I don't doubt him.

I would like to see the OL better protect Romo and, in general, control the LOS. I thought the OL had a weak game against the Giants (although the Giants D is tough).

I haven't heard anything new on Holland. I'm sure hoping he's able to play so I never have to see the eye sore that is Proctor again.

:laugh2: Proctor sucks but your penchant for complaining is way out there- AGAIN.

On Play 1 - Was Proctor responsible for all 3 of those guys that sacked Romo? If so, I think the Houck needs to change up responsibilities and get him some help. Where's the condemnation of the other linemen?

On Play - I count no less than 7 defenders within 3 yards of the hole. Are you saying the failure of that play was HIS responsibility? If he had not been pushed back would the play have been successful? Where's the condemnation of the other linemen?

Play 3 - He waited on the snap count- like he has been coached his whole career. Wow.....

When Wade says something, blogboy, you might want to remember that he has forgot more about football than you know.

I really think you are Wade Phillips.

You sure sound like him.

Great post and on the Wade front maybe he is trying to motivate the guy. He did play horribly early on but like someone mention earlier he got alot better in the second half.

For everyone saying Bring Wade back, this is where I disagree, once again...soft WADE does not hold his players accountable for anything....
we are better off without wade on this team as a head coach, yes he's a good def cord so what, so are many other Head Coaches, Wade needs to go...

If you take the entire sum of the game and not just three plays it becomes obvious that Proctor had his best game of the season. We had roughly 50 plus snaps (without looking it up) and he had several key blocks during some pivitol points in the game. His blocks sprung TC on some nice runs in the running game and on some screen plays. Is Proctor our best OL? No, not by a long shot but on Sunday he definitely contributed to the win.

Im with you Ad. If you watched the entire game you can see that Proctor has come a long ways.

No offense, but Ill go w/ Wade and the Dallas coaches and not some interweb thread starter.

Its just silly.

All Procter needs is to spend some time in the ring with Columbo, maybe 20 ounce gloves if they make em:D

I guess that was supposed to be an insult?

There must be several Wade Phillips on here then because you've been called out on this farce of a thread numerous times.

Every time Choice ran to the left he was suffocated. Until Garrett started calling running plays to the right half way through the 2nd quarter the running game would collapse while it went to the left. Choices best run was his TD run and he started out going to the right, then made a cut to the middle which he ran right up and once he got into their defensive backfield made the cut left.

There was no successful running on the left side all game. I don't remember 1 play. Garrett finally woke up and went right both running and passing later on in the game. Colombo had the best game of the group if you ask me. Bigg had 2 crucial penalties but was also productive. The 3 plays DC put in the video were the worst but there were a couple more until the plays started going right.

Proctor forces us to play with 2/3 of the field. That's a no-no in this league because teams are going to overload the strong side pretty soon to force us left. We all saw what happens when we go to the weak side. Proctors atrocious and a liability we can't afford down this stretch. We lose our QB because of this shlup and I want Wades head. "Best offensive lineman award", unreal! Tell him to hit the bricks.

We lived through people overreacting for half the season with some of the most important players on this defense on the bench. Remember the calls for press coverage with Pacman/Newman out of the lineup? Now, we get our key guys back, play the way most of us said we would all along, and the question is 'why wasn't Wade doing that sooner?' Aren't they obliged to at least throw in a couple of days of 'my bad' posts when proven completely wrong before they go off half-cocked in another direction, equally wrong?

Same thing going on now with the 'what's wrong with our offense' posts. What's wrong with the offense is we've been playing the Giants and Steelers. There, I said it. That's your answer. It's not Romo's pinky, and it's not Garrett's play calling. It's not Wade Phillips inattention to the offense. It's the teams we're playing. They're good, too.

OK, smart-aleck. What Wade meant was that his Proctologist got a good core sample during his annual physical.
And that Corey guy did play well and he didn't cry or nuthin.
