Do you guys really think there will be a competitive market for his services?

There will be a lot of teams that want nothing to do with him and nobody will invest in him with his age.

This move would just absolutely put us over the top IMO.

From a football standpoint.. I say do it and enjoy the Lombardi's that come with it.

We have to sign Murray, so I don't think there is any way Jerry takes a serious look at Peterson. You can bet he would love to run with our OL and a QB like Tony, though.

Murray won't see a big pay check here in Dallas.

He'll get paid but he won't get Peterson, Lesean McCoy money.

I hope he gets about 5 mill per at best.

I respect the game of Peterson but do not need another lead RB. Going out and getting older players just does not make sense unless it is a stop gap move because you lack talent at a certain position and we don't lack talent at RB. If I was going to go after an older vet it would be at safety or DE

AD is old but he has a few years left in him and he is better than murray in every way,i would keep my option open if Murray is let go.

Peterson was the better player in his prime. Very few players have ever been as good as he was in his prime. I'm not sure that Murray isn't a better back, but there is no doubt that Peterson is still no slouch. Would I replace Randle or Dunbar with Peterson IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT..... HELL YEAH!

Pay Murray and then invest in Suh. Would rather have Suh and Murray then Peterson and Murray.

Can you imagine Murray and Peterson together on the field at the same time? Forget the fullback ..... two guys who could take it to the house on any given play, especially behind this line? Dez on the outside..... It would be a mismatch of nightmare proportions for defenses.

People said the same with Walker and Tony Dorsett that did not work out all that great. I think most backs will tell you they need the carries to get into a groove. I think having a guy who can come in a sub for a few plays is great but I think one lead back works better than trying to split carries evenly

I would rather have Murray, Dunbar and Randle.

Especially if Dunbar starts to become better at picking up blitzes. He's another guy that is a tough mismatch for opposing defenses when it comes to catching passes out of the backfield.

And is tough, that hit he took last night was brutal but he jumped right up and gave a first down signal. I said wow what a hit, thought he killed little Dunbar at first

Peterson would come here cheaper then you think. Pair him with Murray and now we could have two 1,000 yard runners. They were team mates at Oklahoma and AP wants to play here.

Also think when we make a deep run this year. ....AP wants a championship before he retires and that would give us a discount

This was a likely scenario before the off field stuff. Murray is going to be too expensive and Jerry loves All Day. This actually will make him more affordable. Hopefully, he has learned and will be both humbled and hungry.

Younger not older for RBs. You may not get an AP with a drafted or even UDFA but my guess is AP is not going to be AP for long or at least not much longer.
