You dont believe in redemption or 2nd chances? What if he learns something from this and uses his experience to do some good? What if Witten accepted him into the fold and mentored him?

Seems rather short sighted to just write it off.

I do believe in 2nd chances but I don't see him learning and changing. I don't want to say much more due to the "warning" by the mods.

Moving on to the football side, it does not make sense. We should be looking for a younger RB to complement Murray (or to replace him). I like the youth movement we are seeing in our team.

I would love Peterson on this team only if he doesn't interfere with resigning of Dez and Murray. If AP will come cheap then I'm all for it. Just imagine spelling Murray with Adrian Peterson with our offensive line. that would almost be unfair

Im taking Murray over all day. He brings a nasty attitude to compliment our nasty O-line.

And he will be 30. Nasty or not, 30 is 30.

And he will be expensive. I don't agree with the theory that because of his off the field issues he will suddenly become some great bargain or that he will give Dallas a huge discount. This is the guy that compared being a NFL player to slavery. He will want to get paid.

This is a football only thing so I will leave personal thoughts on other issues aside.

Football wise if he comes in cheap, which I suspect he will have to given everything, I could see why they might try and get him in here to save money over Murray or even if he has to come in particularly cheap to be in a rotation with Murray.

I will say right now that if Murray continues to play the rest of the year as he has so far then I'll be surprised if Dallas lets him walk. I just don't see that happening and therefor I really just don't see AP here.

I disagree. AP has the talent to be physical but i dont think he brings the same attitude Murray does.

AP has a nastier attitude than Murray on the field. Where Murray elects to run out of bound, AP would cut it back and pound someone.

If we keep Murray, then I see no reason to spend the money on AP. They are both Cowbell backs, which usually means that they need plenty of touches to maximize their potential. I think you would be better served if you simply kept Randal as they other back and invested that money elsewhere. We need a pass rusher, a playmaking Safety, more depth along the OL and probably a number 1 CB as well. I'm not for a Murray/AP backfield.

No way we spend the money on AP when he will be 30. Murray is gonna get a pretty good raise, and I doubt AP wants that big of a cut in his salary.

No your wrong. Murray catches way too much flack for the few pkays he took out of bounds. AP doesnt run behind his pads like Murray does nor play with the same pissed off want to run you over attitude Murray does.

I simply disagree.

This play Murray doesn't punish the CB just goes out of bounds.
