He went all in with an 8-7 hand and was called. He was an insider fraud. He smeared himself breaking a done deal when there was none - thats what happened.

1:00 eastern now and sides still negotiating - 5 hours till cuts countdown. I hold out hope they can settle this this afternoon. But on a Sunday - more likely they extend deadline a few more days - JMO

Or deal is dead as it appears and cuts start happening. Either way our team was ready!

2. jury is still out on dooms but hos says "legit" and hos isn't known for "smoke blowing" like SOME in here. <cough nors cough>

as for the "prediction" - it's all over the map right now. it's quite possible, you know - like trade talks for a #2 to law, change and the situation changes.

We discussed Law trade, he had 1 year on a contract at a decent $ amount for healthy 30 year old Law. At the time we had MAJOR need at RCB. Deal from COWBOY side likely bogged down over compensation (1st or 2nd) and the fact that a LT deal with Law at time would be a problem. But there was discussion and thought on this per Patriots.

Now we go get Henry/Glenn next season - Law injured and a Poston agent shopping in FREE AGENCY - 31 Teams -

Howard "trade discussions" you were all over last year. Guess what - despite all the its going to get done talk in that day (classic at owners meeting posts) NO TRADE HAPPENED.

Guess what - same player is a free agent tomorrow. 31 teams out there now and WHEN he lands elsewhere. That negates the trade discussions had a year earlier?

Eh? sword cuts both ways.

the simple fact of the matter you can't explain away, gunderson, is that the media who has direct access to these things has checked and found you FOS.

Please post his references - I see his posts saying the deal was done and signed. Press release any minute? That was days ago - he since fled. His words were like its business as usual, agreement signed. Its done - and for kickers his friend in NYC was eating breakfast and talking CBA with JJ - LOL

He went all in holding an 8-7 and was buried on the FLOP. I called him and he lost - He was bluffing. Get it - he already lost - he had nothing. The sides TODAY are still haggling after talks FACTUALLY broke off last night (again)

Yes - Bill Parcells runs all his phone calls thru the freakin media - LOL!!!!!!

Mediots in Dallas for must part are guessing, stumbling and rather clueless on what Parcells is really up to. Parcells shuts media down - always has - lockdown.

GM's and coaches player personell are on the phone making deals, talking deals, making offers, fishing, putting potential deals in place pre draft pending multiple scenarios. Thats how it works.

so yea, the media who's JOB it is to know and find out the "facts" are not privy to the resources you're spewing forth. you see, no one said BP ran his calls through the media, but the media will sure follow up on such a "trade round 2" pick and you're just embarassed you got "discovered" to be who you are.

When someone says a deal is imminent over a used car, it can be completed in a matter of a few minutes to a couple of hours.

A deal involving a multi billion dollar industry such as the NFL would take a significant amount of time. How many pages of legal ramifications would have to be drafted and edited until both sides agree that it is time to sign the dotted lines?

There's no way imminent with regards to the CBA means within a few hours. On top of that during the editing of the various drafts language can break things down again.

cliff notes on Dooms81 breaking his insider news and CBA done and agreement in place. That was 3-3 at 10:00 am.

Said poster made it up - there never was a deal in place. Talks broke down last night and we are 3 hours from player cut deadline.

No agreement in sight still - never was one as insider represented. Dooms has gone undercover and stopped posting - he was bluffing and his poor hand called in.


Also said poster tried to break insider Adam V news - OOOPPPSSS His "breaking" news was already public knowledge in Boston media. Yawn - trickster uncovered that bad boy!

If by "WE" you mean you and me and the forum, yes, it was discussed. If you mean the Cowboys and Patriots then you're 100% wrong. That discussion never happened.

They will tell anyone who asks the same thing I'm telling you here. A trade discussion between the Patriots and Cowboys, for Ty Law in 2004 never happened.

Don't take my word for it. By all means write and ask for yourself. I did, got an answer, and it was from someone whose credibility on the subject I will NOT doubt.

On top of this as I said, I've asked 3 Dallas media members and they all confirm there is no truth to the rumor at all. No Dallas or New England media source has any info on this alleged trade. The reason is simple and it doesn't take a Phi Beta Kappa to figure it out. It doesn't exist.
