Groupie #5.

I am calling out all of my groupies today and giving them a number.

You are #5. You may be tested at some point so remember it.

lol:)

yea, it should say barber of course!

point being which I surmise you get but others won't so I'll spell it out--- they intentionally didn't x-ray guys they knew they were going to play.

it is a pretty standard tactic to use.

Agreed. The same practice can applied to physicals. Injuries are relative in the NFL as everyone is playing with something wrong with them.

FYI, I believe Eskimo IS a doctor.
I think jobberone is one as well in case you're ready to start debating with them over medical stuff.

Why did you stop him? It was bound to get interesting.

Jerry has held two drafts since BP left, one was better than any BP draft minus one and the other was a thud thus far but it is hardly drafting that has hurt us. Trading for RW11 was dumb but it's a dumb move almost every Cowboys fan would have made. And doing so meant we could cut T.O.

Umm what?

The 03 and 05 drafts are the best drafts we have had in the whole decade.

Throw in the undrafted guys that were brought in and the players picked off other practice squads those years and you are completely wrong.

The 08 draft was good, but nowhere near as good as the 03 or 05 drafts and offseasons. Newman-witten-james-romo in 03 is better than 08 by a long stretch. The best player of the 08 draft cant even help the team, he is basically not even part of the team to this point.

Revisionist history is a serious problem around here. People completely forget how this team was built.

this one falls on Juraszek

fire

Juraszek cause there some reason our guys are getting tired at the end of a game

I never thought he was that great anyways. He is the guy that made Roy Williams bulk up and become a LB at the SS spot...

I'm not taking sides here, but people lining up to tell you you're annoying them aren't groupies. Groupies are supposed to like you and have sex with you b/c you're either rich or famous.

A. What would the coaching staff do about his stress fracture?

B. Demarcus ware knows he has it, You think he isnt going to play or practice? There is a reason he hasnt complained or said anything about it.

C. Again, he is demarcus ware, every coaching staff in the league would say to him and the doctors, "Can you play" after he says hell yes, They would say ok we are good to go. Every coaching staff. Not one staff in this league would sit him and say please put your feet up and relax. And demarcus ware would never allow them to sit him.

D. Most importanly, Your a regular guy. Your life and your body are basically zero percent like a professional athletes body. Your job does not entail working with pain of some sort nearly every day. IN no way shape or form can you compare your reaction to a similar injury to a professional athlete's. Most of us would sit in the corner and cry all day if we had the pain a healthy nfl player has by week 7 of the nfl season.

People are absolutely crazy on this site this year.

ugh no where did I say that I'm at Ware's level. And lol at questioning my toughness. You don't know me. How could you make that assumption? I've played through alot of **** playing football and basketball and got nowhere the same treatment as pro's do. I played through it.

My point is that Ware will be at an average level this year. I blame the coaching staff for knowing that it was "sore". Ya let's get the guy out and let him practice:rolleyes:

It's not that deep, guys.

Stress fractures just bring pain but not enough to even warrant an x-ray in most cases. You jam a finger (or thumb) in this case, it swells you ice it and keep it moving. Now if the pain increases or lingers longer than normal and taping it up doesn't do enough, you talk to a trainer and have it checked out.

Same with a foot. You probably just think you twisted your ankle. If you can run on it, you play.

These guys deal with pain on a daily basis. Almost everyone in this league is hurt and stress fractures are considered aches and pains but not injuries.

The problem here lies in why this was even reported to begin with.

Especially if they are both going to start.

I think the NFL requires all known injuries to be reported.

Right, Wade started this whole report by saying that this was the day they had to file the official injury report, so here's the story.

Wade is psyching the Falcons out. The Falcons don't know if Barber and Ware will be out there. Don't know if Felix will be out there. Don't know if Roy will be out there. Don't know if Sensabaugh will be out there.

Keep'em guessing, Wade!

Jedi mind tricks from Wade?

Ware should have signed that contract extension when it was available.

Are you kidding me? You're comparing your peewee high school football toughness to an NFL all-pro linebacker? I didn't miss a game in high school at the 5-A level and I'm 5'11 170, i guess hat entitles me to tell Ware and the coaching staff that they are idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!

His foot hurt, so what? Ratliff takes an ice bath after every game and i guarantee you Ware has bigger problems at the end of a game than his foot hurting. He's a man, men do manly things, including playing with pain.

You'd get decapitated in 5 snaps at the NFL level. Respect the game.

being in the nfl doesn't make you any tougher than anyone else....

they're big people. that doesn't mean they feel less pain.
