Wade: Barber has a broken thumb, Ware stress fracture in foot

This entire post is merely contradictions. If you want to support a losing team then go route for the Rams, wait a minute.... the StLouis Rams have won a Super Bowl since Dallas has won even a single play-off game.

The real fan is just more passionate about winning, the follower not so much.

Oh, BS. He was right. Alot of people here just latch onto any bit of info to whine, rent their clothes and scream like banshees. I note that many of the same people who are now complaining that Ware should have had X-rays earlier were also complaining about Williams not playing after getting his ribs cracked, which was likely a trainer/doctor decision.

And Barber was examined after the KC game, so what's the complaint? That it wasn't publicly announced the moment the results were in?

Sorry, but this "real fan" v. "follower" is nothing more than self delusion to justify one's own beliefs. That you are so passionate that you are willing to scream about medical procedures and conversations you weren't a part of, with conclusions reached upon technical expertise you don't have, isn't passion, it's just being a nut.

I dont think we are far off, just one minor change. And that starts up top. Parcell's left this team in very good shape. Since then Jerry took his reigns back and he couldn't have drafted any worse IMO. I'm not saying we haven't found good players in the draft, but it really cooled down after Tuna left town. He really needs to step back and get a solid GM type. Let the GM get all the personnel together, let the coaches coach, and Jerry can sit up in his box and collect that money.
well I do think we're pretty far off. But I completely agree with everything else you said

So naturally they x-rayed it right away.

Oh.

once they x-ray it they have to release the info because of nfl rules...

wade noted now teams would probably try to pull choices thumb and step on ware's foot....

both guys were playing so they didn't want those injuries being public knowledge.

ware got 2 sacks with his stress fracture and barber played with his broken thumb as both will this week.

So much fail in this thread. Really, the idiocy is blinding in here.

Question: Why are we pulling choice's thumb? Does he have gas?;)

Jerry has held two drafts since BP left, one was better than any BP draft minus one and the other was a thud thus far but it is hardly drafting that has hurt us. Trading for RW11 was dumb but it's a dumb move almost every Cowboys fan would have made. And doing so meant we could cut T.O.

Maybe it's the fan inside of me that wants to believe! But in all seriousness I look around the league and I know we can compete with any team out there. If we can clean up the mistakes, some penalties and the turnovers giving the other team points we can and WILL beat anyone in our way. :D

lol:)

yea, it should say barber of course!

point being which I surmise you get but others won't so I'll spell it out--- they intentionally didn't x-ray guys they knew they were going to play.

it is a pretty standard tactic to use.

Both will play.

6 Pages of dribble about two players with injuries. Players that have practiced and will play.

It would probably be smart to try to limit the amount of Ware's snaps. We may see a little more of Butler and Williams now.

I agree, some of the comments are comical. Temper tantrums gone wild!

And people complain that they don't do enough tackling and full speed drills in practice. Think about how many injuries they would have if they did.

Couldn't agree more. We weren't tackling in practice when we went 13-3. This team just needs to practice well. Tackling your own guys just increases the risk of injury and does not make a better team.
Not that any of that has to do with these injuries. Just agreeing with your point in general. :)

Bolded is definately sig worthy!

Nice.

Is there another franchise in the league that has more people who are less informed about their own team than Dallas?

Just another drop in the bucket really.

I'd venture to guess 99.99% of the people on here are not connected with big time football. So why have a site at all if none of us are qualified to speak about football on the NFL level?
