Wade: Barber has a broken thumb, Ware stress fracture in foot

oh your a doctor too.

Cool.

Never said I was. But I've played with a fracture in my foot and that **** doesn't get any better. You need to rest it and not put any stress on it. Now it's just going to be a lingering problem that could have been avoided. He should have been off his feet for these past two weeks, instead of irratating it in practice. I cannot stand fat lard Wade acting like he's a doctor.

And actually I have several family members who are doctors. When I had a fracture in my foot they told me to just stay off it or you'll keep nagging it. They gave me a ton of treatment and it still never went away.

Get prepared to see a less than average Ware the whole year.

Thanks Wade and the training staff. Way to go!

So naturally they x-rayed it right away.

Oh.

Stress fractures often don't show up on an x-ray for a long time after they have begun. That is just the nature of the beast.

On the plus side, posts by many in this thread prove that the mentally disabled are able to get on a computer and type.

For those of you who are not mentally challenged, please get a girlfriend or a new game for your PS3, something to fill your time.

Injuries happen.

FYI, I believe Eskimo IS a doctor.
I think jobberone is one as well in case you're ready to start debating with them over medical stuff.

I'm not debating, I'm giving facts. Mine showed up 2 days after. I don't care if your a doc or not. It's a fact.

Your diagnosis may have been incorrect in that you may not have had a stress fracture at all. Stress fractures classically have an insidious onset as opposed to traumatic fractures which usually have an abrupt onset. So the fact that you knew a definite onset (two days before detection on xray) argues that you didn't have a stress fracture at all.

Often times xrays stay negative even several weeks later. They are most commonly diagnosed in non-competitive athletes with bone scans. For athletes of Ware's stature, you usually go straight to MRI once the xray is negative and the diangosis is being pondered.

Whether Ware's training regime has been appropriate is another matter - he may have been overtraining as he believe is a very dedicated athlete in the offseason.

LOL at this being a coaching problem.

Guys get hurt all the time in football. They don't run to the doctor everytime they get an ouchie.

Some guys know this... They just want to bash the coaches for anything. It's stupid.

:hammer:

Maybe it was, but there was a break in the x-ray. They told me it was a stress fracture. But I guess that's why people get 3rd and 4th opinions;)

Does this equal fumbles and no sacks :bang2:

:(

I would prepare myself, I am. This is not good. You know how they obey Marion's every command. Why play an 80% back more than you play a 100% health back.

If they had the thought he was injured even if he didn't say anything they should have been limiting him in practice.

Since it is EXACTLY the same and should have been caught after 2 days since that is when your showed up. How long did your last so we know about how long till Ware heals, since there is nooo difference between 2 people.

Dware had a sack in every game last season he goes 4 games without a sack and Wade claims this injury hasn't slowed him down?

What difference does it make, though? We haven't even had a game since then. It's not like he was out there in live action without a cast where he could've gotten hurt worse.

Really?

What do you think he goes back in a box after the game?

He does walk around in real life ya know. If he was lifting and practicing last week he could have avoided all that.

Would you rather him be in a cast from now until four weeks later. Or from last Tuesday until four weeks later.

You just made no sense whatsoever.

A. What would the coaching staff do about his stress fracture?

B. Demarcus ware knows he has it, You think he isnt going to play or practice? There is a reason he hasnt complained or said anything about it.

C. Again, he is demarcus ware, every coaching staff in the league would say to him and the doctors, "Can you play" after he says hell yes, They would say ok we are good to go. Every coaching staff. Not one staff in this league would sit him and say please put your feet up and relax. And demarcus ware would never allow them to sit him.

D. Most importanly, Your a regular guy. Your life and your body are basically zero percent like a professional athletes body. Your job does not entail working with pain of some sort nearly every day. IN no way shape or form can you compare your reaction to a similar injury to a professional athlete's. Most of us would sit in the corner and cry all day if we had the pain a healthy nfl player has by week 7 of the nfl season.

People are absolutely crazy on this site this year.

Remember who you're talking about here... Wade Phillips isn't the brightest bulb in the pack.

That's a humongous exaggeration. Do not allow the volume of posts to impair your judgment. Those who fit your description do not represent, "the majority of Cowboys fans".

Thank goodness but the foolish few are awfully loud. They know who they are.;)
