Could those complaints have been wrong? Absolutely. But I'm not gonna sit here and pretend that the complaints weren't out there.... Sorry.

And I just don't agree that a whole lot of people were looking to go from the extreme of Bill Parcells to Wade Phillips.

There were seperate issues that people had problems with, but I simply don't remember an overwhelming cry for a "player friendly" coach, vs the multitude of other issues, real or perceived, that folks had with Parcells.

I certainly wanted nothing like Wade Phillips. I bet I can get more than a few folks here to agree on that.
