We're in a serious playoff game here and we are talking about changing staff? Our defensive line coach? I know Pasqualoni was here previously and became a DC in Miami but we're gonna fight to go to the semi's so we can go to the SB.

Like if we don't win Gratham will become the scape goat? Common, get real here. Already a scapegoat is set up? Disgraceful........

I think Gratham is staying until after our season is over, I dont think he packed his bags and left on the first plane this morning.

Just heard Eatman on Lunchbreak. He said that the Pasqualoni's had their South Lake home for sale for two years and it finally sold Friday. Then he of course got fired by Miami on Monday. Now his family needs a house. How funny.

that is a weird thing about his house. For you and me, that wouldn't be funny, it would be a total bummer: for Paul? He's a highly paid pro coach. He'll be fine and I'm glad he's back in town BTW.

This is the only thing that concerns me.

Me too, if we all get what we want, a SB win; you teams are gonna be going after Garrett. I wonder if he has the patience to wait around for Wade to leave? If they do go to the SB doesnt Wade deserve some sort of extension? I doubt he's looking to retire soon.

Congrats Wade, couldn't have happened to better guy, you deserve it.

Would it not be more apropos to switch the word "better" with "luckier"?

That's how I would write it. And you could bet your mortgage that I would omit the "you deserve it" part.

I have gone on record here several times making known my feelings about Wade Phillips. I think he is a great guy and an awsome defensive coordinator but he is not ADEPT at being a great head coach. I cannot even begin to explain how wrong it will be on so many levels should he get this extension.

Without great coaching this team is destined for failure at some point in these playoffs. And when it happens (which I believe it most certainly will), over half of you are going to immediately jump off of Wade's bandwagon.

There is only one true head coach that's still available out there who I fervently believe can lead this team to greatness. He would not only get our current team to win this year's Superbowl but a few more of them in the near future as well.

And Jerry is going to miss a great opportunity.:bang2:

Ahh, finally! Someone finally asks the right question. Well, here you go:

And I promise you, I didn't come to this conclusion hap-hazardly.

I have no idea what this means but if it's your simple way of being critical (rather than expounding on it intelligently), then I can only assume that you didn't watch the video.

I'll give you that much, it was pretty funny. :lmao2:

But why would you think it wrong? Would you still feel this way if Dallas gets stomped tomorrow?

His Tampa teams were mediocre at best (except his first year). He had 2 10+ loss teams (something Wade has never had)

Other than winning a Super Bowl with a team he had little say in constructing his record is less impressive than Wade's.

Wade has won 34 of 49 games, here. You don't fire a coach coming off a playoff win, 2 division titles in 3 years(something no coach has done since Switzer) and almost 70% winning pct. You just don't.

First of all, (his last year with Tampa) the team was inundated with injuries to the starters. Before that, Gruden had his own version of T-O to deal with in the form of Keyshawn Johnson (the one-true team cancer). Both of these issues are neither excuses nor reasons why they had losing records - only mitigating circumstances.

Secondly, I don't want to hear how great Wade's track record is in the regular season. That crap was laid on us his first year and fell on this fan's deaf ears. I want to know how he did in the post season. That's all that really counts now, isn't it?

And trust me, as stated earlier, I didn't come to this conclusion lightly.

Why are we arguing about Gruden?

Who cares about Gruden?

Forget Gruden.

Bye bye.

Because HE IS THE BEST COACH AVAILABLE. That's why. And trust me, if Dallas gets beat tomorrow and it's all because they think they have nothing left to prove, watch the tide turn quickly against Wade around here.
