Roy bashers VS Roy supporters.

It really doesnt matter what the "Roy Supporters" say because anyone with 2 eyes can see he is not the same player he was for us when he got here.

We're talking about a guy who was a game changer, finished 2nd for ROY and should've got it, finished 2nd for DPOY and should've got that too.

Now hes in the prime of his career and instead of being Canton bound he isn't even Cowboy bound.

Yeah i feel you. But most people on here think the guy is some kinda garbage, when that aint even the truth. The guy is still a good tackler and solid hitter. Like i said before the only fault the guy has is pass coverage that's it. I bet plenty of other teams around the NFL would love to have a player Like Roy.

Yeah but good and solid doesn't validate a top 10 pick, and the type of money he is getting payed.

Plus if you have watched his tackling isnt even close to what it was.

He used to seek and destroy. Now he just kinda lets things come to him.

Signs of a player playing with minimal confidence.

a lot of what you may see on this forum is not hatred for Roy, but dissapointment. RW looked great coming into the league, a huge hitter and playmaking safety with blitzing skills to boot. Now he looks like a totally different player and many people think its from the $. Roy just looks slow, lost and unmotivated out there. He runs scared from the media after games and is not the leader we hoped he would be. Maybe he can still turn it around, but i doubt it.

2nd he was young in the league what we ask him to do know he would have never been able to do as a rookie.
3rd PArcells told him to change the way he tackled because it would lead to injury.
4th The nfl has changed rules can't lead with your head horse collar tackle
5 he lines up against the best TE in the NFL one on one find me one safety that does that.

what we have asked him to do for us has changed and so has the league he hasn't. His stats this year were almost identical to his rookie year.

Stats dont fly in some instances and this is definetely one of them.

Plus not having Woody back there just isnt an excuse anymore.

We've done our best to build this secondary around Mr. Williams.

His play has diminished and its as obvious as night and day.

Even the organization has came out and said so.

Actually, i understand that. ur so used to playin 1 way and years after you are forced to chage your style. whats wrong with that? and you sayin the guy sucks is just crazy. Agree but, hes still 1 of the best though. hes not as good as he was when he was younger, and that happens to alot of players, but to say he sucks ETc. is jUST plain Dumb!

I personally don't. I think many here are off base about him. I do think he needs to improve in 2008. He did not play well in 2007.

He doesn't suck... Hes just turned out to be a bad investment for all we have put into him.
