I sense a lot of hate and prejustice in your post.

There have been postings and comments from highly paid NFL personnel like former and current coaches, players, GMs, and scouts who've given Dak Prescott the respect he deserves. None of them said Dak is on Rodgers, Mahomes or Brady's level, but they've said Dak is a top 10 quarterback.

Dak's production according to NFL.COM's statistics/production has placed him in the top 10.

Im not going to point anybody out specifically, but they know who they are. Its a few here that have legit concerns about Dak moving forward with this team, then there's the handful of haters that downplay anything good Dak HAS done and place blame on Dak for things that isn't his fault.

There's this ONE question that I've noticed that never gets answered from the Dak haters and it actually makes them run, hide, and skip over the question. Here it is....

1. If the NFL professionals, from coaches to GMs, current and former players and scouts say that Dak is a very good quarterback and he's a top 10 quarterback and his PRODUCTION places him in the top 10.... and you (the hater) says Dak isn't good and he's top 10....

Are you (the hater) going on record to say that you know more about football and evaluating quarterback talent than ALL OF THOSE HIGHLY PAID NFL PERSONNEL that ive listed above that get paid millions to eat, sleep and breathe football for a living???

NO DAK HATER HAS EVER ANSWERED THIS QUESTION!!!!

But why not????
The funny thing abut this...is that people only agree with the "experts" when they already agree on the premise.

In a word YES.

In year 7, even most of his critics such as myself acknowledge that he is currently a Top 10ish QB. But he still has flaws that should be obvious to anyone and without improvement the new generation is going to push him out of the Top 10. Furthermore, if several of the older generation hadn't retired recently he still wouldn't be in the Top 10.

So, no real disagreement between us and the experts on where he stands now. However, these experts are not experts on Dak. They have not watched every game, every play. They watch some & look at stats and form their opinion just like most casual fans. Those of us who have watched every play of his career truly understand the context around when he has performed well and when he doesn't.

But the real heart of the issue for many was the completely overboard and obnoxious analysis by his supporters during the early years. Many claimed he was the best QB in the league, top 3 - 5, some even GOAT early in his career. When it was obvious to any rational person that he was more 15-20 range and had miles to go to get into the discussion as a top 10 much less those other accolades. If you pointed out a pass clearly behind the receiver, they came up with all kinds of excuses as to why the receiver was expected to bend the laws of physics and catch the "on target" ball. Simply put, it led to a very contentious forum with both sides feeling flustered.

This has improved greatly over the last couple years as more and more supporters have acknowledged his flaws and been willing to have reasonable discussions about what we see on the field. The result is that avid supporters & vocal critics have largely arrived at the same evaluation. Top 10ish with areas for improvement.

For the record, I have always given Dak credit for improving. I honestly wasn't sure he could get to a point where I would consider him top 10ish. As there are every off season, reports are that he has made more improvements. I hope that is true and that he can take that step where I believe in him in the critical moments.

You are using logic. Dak haters do not use logic. They are emotional crybabies that can only get attention by being negative.

Also, many people on here are not actually Cowboys fans. They pretend to be fans, post negative stuff then go to their team's message board and brag about how they go Cowboys fans all worked up.

I am not negative . . . just Honest

Wanna hear a prediction

Dak will struggle all year and Homers will blame everyone else all year
If you were honest you would look at Daks production and know he’ll he close to the top of the league. The issue comes in January and can he elevate team.
Thus far the team hasn’t been good enough and he’s been part of that. But he has played solid in the playoff games with the exception of San Fran

but I’m sure that’s not good enough for some

To say he's not is a complete Joke.
Cowboys 26-4 when Zeke is over 100 yards........ALL ABOARD!!!!

A bus driver just won the SB last year, that's why team building is so important.

If it was only great QBs winning SB's, Brady and Rogers would have won every year.

Funny story.......................so I was in a bar the other day and there was this Cowboys fan I didnt know next to me. Once we figured out we were Cowboys fans we started going over everything.

-I like Dak, he doesnt
-I hate Zeke, he likes Zeke
-he is mad about Cooper, I like that we got rid of him
-He doenst like lamb, I love Lamb

It was literally like I was on the Zone! So I was like..............Ok, well did you like Garrett? And said oh no I hated Garrett. LOL

So I guess the moral of the story is that at least we can all agree that Garrett sucked. LOL

Great story! It's amazing how different we can all be whilst still rooting for the same team.

Ya, I guess Kupp was throwing to himself......:muttley:
Stick with screens and check downs you know what we do best on offense!!!
How did their overall team play? Then compare that to the Cowboys overall team performance.
Matt Stafford, a bus driver?

Damn man, I give you props... it's hard to be drunk this early in the morning!
So you're saying he put that team on his back and willed them to a SB? Nah I just didn't see that, I saw a great all around team (defense, offense, coaching) all working together to win.

And sadly, during the 10 year tenure of Garrett, there were plenty on here that thought Garrett was doing a great job.

and that the officiating is biased against this team as well as several others. Many but not all can find common ground on this. We may be critical of Dak, it when the ball is snapped 99% of us want to see him make that completion and will jump off the couch with every touchdown.
