We could argue for 10 straight days about this, we could get into the many racist things that have happened in the US but that`s not the point, you cannot assume somebody or some country is racist because some idiots did or said stupid things, you are generalizing and that is not fair.

Who said anything about racism? Not moi. The surly crowd was making a political statement, cruelly kicking the US when it was down. That would make them insensitive *******s, not racists.

Ok, I get you, but like it was said before, it was 12 drunk idiots that got booed by the whole stadium, by saying Mexican crowd you are generalizing.

It happened in Mexico. The stadium was packed with Mexican nationals. Was I supposed to say "Latvian crowd"?

No, you should’ve said a few people in the Mexican crowd.

I never mentioned an exact number, so you have no complaint.

BTW, racism and soccer have become so synonymous that Wiki has devoted an entire page to it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racism_in_football

It`s not about me complaining, I could give a **** what you think about soccer, hey I don`t even like soccer that much but I think it`s wrong to make those kind of assessments, and buddy I don`t know where you are living but you could probably find racism on the corner of your street not just in soccer, unfortunately that`s the world we live in.

Anyway, the hell with soccer, Thank God, the season is about to start, Go Cowboys.

No me gusta soccor...soccor sucks!

Watching grass grow, or paint dry, is just as exciting.

And, grass or paint don't flop around like a fish out of water.

Everybody`s entitled to their opinion and I can certainly understand people who hate soccer but what everybody needs to admit is this “it`s not a coincidence that soccer is the world’s game, every country on earth plays it and that`s why a guy like Beckham or Ronaldo can go to Indonesia, Costa Rica, South Africa or the US and there would be hundreds of thousands of fans waiting for him” not the case for example for Payton Manning or Tom Brady (probably the NFL`s best known players). My point is there has to be something great about soccer since most sports fans worldwide love it, some of us get it some of us don`t, but when it comes to popularity around the world it`s not even a contest and if you love sports you have to respect that.
I don't genuflect to the rest of the world. It literally means nothing to me that they love the sport. Less than nothing in fact. So I can admit it just fine. It still doesn't impress me.

I don't think it's entirely true anyway. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China who was the biggest star to the Chinese people? It wasn't a soccer player. It was a basketball player. Not even their own national hero, Yao Ming, was a bigger draw than Kobe Bryant. In previous Olympics the Dream Teams were treated similarly as well.

The rest of the world isn't crazy about American football the same as they are about soccer. That doesn't make them right and American football fans wrong. It means they follow what they know. Nothing more.

Ah, the toe thumb. Heres a question.

Would you trade a small toe thumb kiss for a nice night with other 99%?
