Yes, word is that Baltimore would have taken him. It would have been proclaimed a genius pick by the Ravens and Cowboy fans would be blaming/hating Jerry for not taking him.
You can't say he was worth the 31st pick until we see what T. Williams has. If T. Williams turns out to be a complete bust and gets cut, then we spent the 18th pick (not the 31st) on Frederick.
Huh?
Some odd logic there dude... very odd.
Haha, did you just criticize the OP for not giving an opinion, and then refuse to give an opinion?
Yes, Frederick was absolutely worth a first round pick.
It's not hard. We had the 18th pick. We traded it for the 31st and a 3rd. We spent the 31st on Fred and the 3rd on Will. If Will is a complete bust and doesn't even make the team, then we essentially spent our 18th on only Fred.
I gave my opinion. The OP always withholds his opinion until he gets a consensus. Glad you've already come to the conclusion after 2 preseason games that Frederick was worth a first round pick. He looked great against the Raiders second team DL on Orton's TD throw.
He's already the best looking linemen on the line. I mean, he is glaringly better than the others, even better than Tyron Smiff.

It's ridiculous to come to a conclusion that a player who was considered a reach is worth their draft status after only 2 preseason games where they've gotten only a few series against starting players. We'll find out everything we need to know about Frederick when he's going head to head vs a pro bowl player for 4 quarters during the regular season.
How come when you ask the board their opinion of something you withhold your opinion until a few start giving their answers? Why not just give your opinion instead of waiting to see what the consensus is? It makes it appear your answer is going to be based on what others think. It's way too soon to know if Frederick was worth a first round pick we'll find that out during the regular season.
Your opinion is that you have no opinion. Strong stuff there.
A decision shouldn't be judged on hindsight but rather on the information available at the time the decision was made. You can't say he was worth the 31st pick until we see what T. Williams has. If T. Williams turns out to be a complete bust and gets cut, then we spent the 18th pick (not the 31st) on Frederick.
Why do you ask why questions? This is a deliberately inflammatory remark that just starts stuff. As long as we are asking why questions, why not just answer the question like everyone else?
