Washington is Prime Example of why you Don't Dump Dak

For full disclosure, I'm not a Dak hater or apologist.

I believe that Dak is not elite but, he's also too good to easily replace.

Washington is the prime example of what I'm talking about. Their roster is full of very talented players.

In fact, other than QB, they might be the best roster in the division.

However, their QB situation is brutal. If, Dak played for the Commies, they would be going to the playoffs and maybe even vying for homefield advantage.

Bottom line, Dak gives us a chance to win and although he's not perfect, I'm happy on the last Sunday of the season, we aren't searching for a QB.

Go Cowboys!
I don't think many Dak detractors want him gone without a successor waiting in the wings, that's a strawman, the objection is that the team isn't seriously looking for an upgrade. Even more objectionable is the quarter century, un-serious approach to fielding a top defense. They don't even try.

So true, good point. Many here act like Dak is the worst QB in the league, lol. Im sure the SKINS would take him in a second over that mess they've had at the position. Looking at all the teams that will be in the playoffs on the NFC side, I would rather have Dak than any of their QBs except Brady, and he's 45 or so. Hurts is good, Cousins too - but I don't see them as a difference making improvement over Dak.

The brain fart when the game was already over? That brain fart?

Even if they clock that ball, there is less than 1% chance we can win.

Please point to anything else in the playoffs you think was on him?

Was giving up 300 yards rushing vs the Rams his fault too? How about Arod completing the miracle throw to beat us?

CHANCES are...the Defense will let someone run all over them or give up the losing play late, if we are really looking at this objectively.
Well, Ken.

The season is basically over now.

Mahomes wrapped up the MVP last night while breaking records and Dak is leading the NFL in INTs despite missing 5 games.

I think it's safe to say I won the bet.

Ya you won the unofficial bet. No doubt.

I was wrong about Mahomes because I thought he would be really hurt without Hill. He ended up leaning on All pro Kelce more and used all of his weapons really well.

He got better as an overall qb, something I could not say the last couple of years for him.

Here is the thing...i admit when I am wrong...you just dig in on silly takes lol

The reason Dallas should not dump Dak at this point has nothing to do with what Washington has done. It's what Dallas has done. They have left no other options but to go with him. Left themselves neutered to any other choices. Much like when Romo was here and Jerry had to pay him the big money. What choice did he have?

Not on this topic but on things like predicting 8 wins for Dallas, 100 rushing games being a stupid metric, and blaming games on Dak that had way bigger issues in them.
When have I denied that I predicted 8 wins? lol

100 rushing yards is a stupid metric if it doesn't fit your narrative. It's very telling when it comes to Dak because it shows that if the run game isn't working we don't win.

Dak plays the most important position in football. He gets more credit when we win than he should and he gets more blame we we lose that we should. That's how the NFL works.

Josh Allen has 0 wins this year when his team rushes for less than 100 yards.

Oh wait...his team never rushed for under 100 yards. Stupid metric...lol

Allen has more in 2020 alone than Dak does in his entire 7 year career.

What's your point?

He has averaged over 30 passes a game for the year. They took his best WR away in Cooper and a guy that had become a security blanket in Wilson. They refuse to make Pollard the lead back even though he clearly is. Keeping Cooper and Wilson and starting Pollard would have been more protection.
Zeke provides protection Pollard doesn't...Good riddance to Cooper and he has a blanket in Schultzl Clearly they haven't done everthing to help on both sides of the ball, but to deny they have done things to help Dak is silly and wrong to suggest

No game is decided by one player alone.
On the other hand, you can blame the GM.
I never once said everything is his fault....check my others posts as our issues are up and down the roster over the last 3 decades almost

Carson Wentz is the bestest QB ever. They don't have QB issues.

“Chances are if we fail in the playoffs it will be because of Dak” your words!
I don’t see you mention anyone else there.
