Washington wants C. Johnson

I believe that would be a good move for Washington, that trio of Johnson and Moss with El working the slot would be nightmarish honestly... The problem is can their young QB develop enough over the summer to take the next step?

Can the Bengals afford the $8 mil cap hit?

That would be a major problem for the Bengals.

I'm not sure if Johnson is going anywhere . . . .

It's a lot easier to develop with a cast like that.

And Marvin Lewis has said as much.

Exactly what I was thinking. I mean from watching Campbell play, I don't think he has "IT". I am not sure he will develope into a good QB.

But then again, most of us here said the same thing about Eli...

I was not a TO fan prior to his signing, but he has matured quite a bit since being here. Chad Johnson from what I have read has not quite "got it" yet.

He's acting up only because he wants out of Cincinnati, just like T.O. did when he wanted out of San Francisco and Philadelphia.

And let the Commanders light us up for 300+ yards every time we play them?? It's amazing Cowboy fans, most of which who vouch for T.O., can look at a guy like Johnson as a plague. Did some people forget who our #81 is?? Better yet, did yall forget that if they switched places, they'd be carrying themselves the exact same way. Let's not fool ourselves into thinking if this team goes 5-11 next year, Owens is gonna be all smiles and about team.
Wow, the things you read on here.

Johnson isn't Randy Moss. If the Skins want to continue to throw away draft picks, let 'em.

If the Commanders are going to go after very expensive FAs, I sure hope they let go of guys like R Cartwright and others, who form the "core" and backbone of their team.

They won't be able to afford good depth.

They are going to try and run the West Coast Offense with him and I'm not sure he has that skill set. Johnson is spoiled by have Palmer throwing him the ball and T.J. on the other side relieving the pressure, he won't have this in Washington.

if I were Cincy, the mad-midget would be the 1st person I would contact about a trade, he's probably give up a 1st and 3rd for him

That wouldn't surprise me, but it would still leave a major cap hit on Cincy's books.

I don't see it happening either, just saying that if a team had a disgruntled superstar, who wanted out, Washington would be the 1st people I approach

but couldn't they re-structure his contract to make the hit manageable?

What makes anybody think CJ will go to the Commanders? He is upset because the Bengals are inconsistent and lose. Is that going to change with the Commanders?
