What makes anybody think CJ will go to the Commanders? He is upset because the Bengals are inconsistent and lose. Is that going to change with the Commanders?

Very true! It's like, what do you want? This spoiled egg, or this spoiled egg?

However, Chad, as well as probably every player in the NFL knows that if you want some fast, big cash...where do you turn to? The Midget!

:laugh1:

I'm sure being the Commander fan you are that would make you happy getting Johnson.

Dude, isn't it about time for your Rumspringa to be over?

They are going to try and run the West Coast Offense with him and I'm not sure he has that skill set. Johnson is spoiled by have Palmer throwing him the ball and T.J. on the other side relieving the pressure, he won't have this in Washington.

If it takes a #1 and #3 pick to get a 30-year old, potentially disruptive WR, I'll pass. This teams needs to get YOUNGER. We need an infusion of youth like an anorexic needs a cheeseburger!

Draft and sign younger, less expensive FAs!!

The whole bottom line here is the Bengals can't afford to part with him and the Commanders can't afford him, add in the fact that the Bengals Franchise player Palmer has asked the front office to keep him, so it's not happening.

I can't wait to see what they trade for a 30 year old receiver. I'm thinking they give up a 1st, 3rd, and 4th.

Snyder really seems smitten with CJ. Here we go again. I would love to have CJ on my team, I really do, but not at what its gonna take to get him. Washington Post reported from "sources" that it could take a 1st and 3rd rounder or two 2nd rounders. As of now we have draft picks in 1,2,3,5,6,7. Cant remember the last time we had as many pics as that.

And after this offseason, you still won't be able to remember it.

The 2000 offseason returns...I can see it now.

I don't think they have a 4th round pick to begin with. But come on, I am sure Snyder will come up with something creative to help his new coach.

At first glance, you're like "Ooohhh...Chad Johnson! That's great. A truly elite WR. I mean, I know he has some attitude problems, but maybe that's just his surroundings in Cincy. Look at what TO did making the leap to Dallas. He's been fine - and Chad Johnson isn't half the malcontent that TO is"....

And you might be right, if you thought like that.

But truthfully, I have never see a wide receiver berate, and openly show his displeasure with his QB the way that Chad Johnson does with Carson Palmer. He berates him on the way back to the huddle. If he was open and the pass wasn't on the money, he flails about like a child before going back to the huddle. If the series went poorly, and Palmer missed Johnson, Johnson is in his ear the whole way back to the bench.

By the end of this year it was clear that Carson was simply tired of his act. Tired of having to hear about every screw up he makes from Johnson. Tired of his demands for the ball.

And that's with Carson Palmer.

Can you imagine how he would treat Jason Campbell?

I can. And it makes me giddy.

Make a move Jerruh.

as long as that move is to help the skins get him, cool.

people get far too infatuated with a name they know vs. a good fit for the team.

Do the two letter T and O ring a bell?

Not even TO does it as bad as Johnson (I clearly mentioned him in the post, maybe you missed it). Maybe when he was back in San Francisco, I can't remember that.

Remember this season, when LT was so pissed at Rivers for being a sack of crap that Rivers came over to sit by him and LT got up and walked away? It's like that - only all the time, and the complete opposite in that Carson can't get away from Johnson, who never shuts his mouth.

Maybe Shockey acts like that. Although less demonstrative.

Fortunately no, even Cerratto sees the errors of those days...

No, I didn't miss it but you clearly undermined it. TO was very vocal with McNabb. Do you remember the footage of TO pacing McNabb back and forth on the sidelines with McNabb trying everything he can to avoid him?

Honestly, I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that TO is handled with kid gloves in Dallas -- complete opposite of what Reid and McNabb did in Philly. He's given whatever he wants.

He also may be on some much needed medication. As good of a player as TO is, he's an emotionally unstable psychopath in my opinion.

Precisely why I don't want him -- he would be a 2000-esque acquisiton all over again.

Get over it! That was 3 years ago or so. Has he thrown a fit with Romo? No...people can change, see if you can.
