Did Garrett fumble the punt against the Giants or miss DMC who was wide open underneath? Surely it was Garrett who has dropped at least 3 INTs that hit him directly in the hands. I definitely know it was Garrett that let Harris return a kickoff to retake the lead.....

Come on folks stop blaming Garrett for everything, yeah he should have called a TO in OT against the Saints but all this bashing isn't warranted in my opinion. Ask the Cardinals how well they did w/o Palmer or the Steelers what happens when Big Ben goes down ....

Romo & Dez covered for lots of Garrett's mistakes. He has always been too cautious and I never thought he was
"all that" at game management. His bungles have caused us to lose several games over the last few years. When
you're winning, winning covers lots of errors. Without Romo, this team is Jerry's folly and most here know that.
Guess why Jerry loves him some Romo?

Even hobbled and being covered by one of the game's best, Dez did a good job attracting attention. Either nobody else was able to step up or Cassel wasn't able to find them.

show me. let me make this real clear, so before you waste your time blabbing, i dont want opinion, i want facts. Pure and simple. Opinion and what you are dreaming of are not facts. So show me how they over achieved .

So you want nothing then. This is my OPINION. My opinion is that in those 8-8 seasons we weren't very good. Our defenses weren't very good. Our offensive play calling wasn't very good. A result of that is usually a terrible record when you can't play defense or offense. How can you win in this league when you are giving up 40-50 points a week? There were times where Romo would give us 40 and STILL LOSE. And you believe that's a good team?

This was not a very good team. Fans who drunk the kool aid slept better at night thinking we were talented on paper but we lacked any depth on BOTH Sides of the football.

Now how about you show me "facts" of how this team didn't underachieve?

I agree Romo's play covers for a lot of things but I won't lay it all at the feet of Garrett. Look at our offense, no imagination and that is primarily on the OC. Even our pass routes and concepts leaves something to be desired.

I would like to look at the 22's b/c on one replay they showed Dez streaking towards the end zone and I thought he was open.

They are only one game back, for what it's worth.

Wade is an awful, AWFUL head coach.

look at Garretts record. aaaaannnnnnnnndddd Done. Let me also add, there are games this team didnt look prepared, there were games we didnt have a chance in. To this very day Garrett STILL refuses to stick with anything that works. He has a great coaching staff and things still dont work and his one good season came when the division sucked. He still wont fight for this team and he still doesnt exploit a teams weakness and he always plays down to his competition.

A few players he keeps on this team that has no business being on this team. He also still has bad use of time outs and he still doesnt take our divsiion games serious because he will either use a rookie when we dont have to or he ll trust a bad player to cover a good player. I
There is more excuses for this coach than any in our history.

So shut it down and mail the rest of the season in and let's get us a great draft next year. Avoid the coming wear and tear on an aging Romo when it will amount to nothing.
