Here's a burning question I have. Why aren't we spending? Why is Stevie saying we aren't done, when all the while he has spent next to 0? Its double talk. He's sitting on like 25 mill. WHY?

I am not sure he intended to have that much cap space. Not if they signed Gregory.

You'll never be able to do anything in the post season when your approach every off-season is do everything necessary to give yourself the best chance to have a good regular season.

And not just the regular season coming up. The regular season after that. And the one after that.

The Cowboys are absolutely terrified of having a bad regular season.

I think the reasons for that are pretty obvious. But that's just me.

That is overrate the players and coaches we have.

We are not a top 2 or 3 NFC team and we wasn't last year either. Eatman is buying into the fools gold and thinks we're just a piece or two away.

listen again. He is saying in the NFC. He's right. In the NFC we were a top 3 team. Not now. Can the draft drastically change that? MAYBE. We will need 2 draft even better than last year.

We've lost La'el (who's absence in weeks 2 through 6 coincided with the winning run), Coop's down year 65% comp, 865 yards....whichever way you look at it not worth $22m and Gregory who's shall we call inconsistent.....production wise we arent much worse than last year, especially will the draft and $20m to spend on needs post draft.

Fear of failure, he messed up the Gregory negotiation (hence Jerry having to step in) and if he spend all his CAP he cant afford to have a costly mistake...hence he'll rely on the draft and plug whatever's needed with the dregs of FA (though there are a couple of names still out there).

There are some teams that chase the market and some that allow the market to come to us....we do neither, we wait until the market's closed.

The "we draft well" thing is a myth also. Because if we drafted well then we wouldn't rotate winning the division every year with the other trash in our division. If we draft well then so do the Eagles, Commanders, and Giants because we all take turns winning the division every year.

Look at those second rounders. Jeez. Terrible.
