The hate glow from you Garrett haters is like a nice camp fire.

Oh, just to be clear, I'm rarely serious. My only real problem with Garrett is that his playbook needs some serious adjustment for how the game plays now and for what personnel that they have. The Players love him and support him, he says the right things and is still learning as a HC, but I think he's got massive potential still. In the end, he might make a better GM than HC, but he's building this team right, so I can't complain.

I agree he's an OK hc. My only other issue is how scared he is. Never tries to put the game away always wants to try sit on a lead like a lame duck.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I want him to get more aggressive with the lead. :D

In Garrets defense, it is kinda tough when you continuely lose your starting QB

Talented group? The O will be good, but this is a very bad defense. Linebackers are only good until Lee gets hurt, the starting cornerbacks the coaches will out or there week 1 haven't had a pick in years, we have no pass rush, and one potentially competent cover safety.

I'm not defending Jason, but the fallacy way too many people believe is that the Cowboys are talented.

I agree, the Cowboys have the best OL in football, talented group of runners, one of the best weapons in football(and a good group around him), and 2 good quarterbacks. If that isn't a talented group I don't know what the hell is. Plenty of teams would 'settle' for that untalented group!

Hell I didn't even add Witten and his crew of TE.

LMAO: We have a more talented offense than the one that won three super bowls!

But what about the defense? Probably 2 DE, 2LB and a DB or 2 away, but maybe we can get lucky like the Arizona Cards did in 2008, and every game be decided in a shootout.

But don't say the Cowboys aren't talented. That's nonsense

Ya know who is looking forward to showing what they're made of? The mystery coaches called out by Booger & Son as one of the reasons the backups didn't get it done. Didn't throw it all on them but enough to stick and coaches don't like that. I am assuming Linehan and Wilson were the ones and probably Garrett since you would think a career backup QB could prepare two former starting QBs.

This coaching staff can redeem themselves with a rookie QB but it's not that easy. It must look like he was prepared to play not making chicken salad with his feet. Every QB will make improv plays during a game but I always felt Romo made too many and there's always been this question in my mind about how many plays were actually executed as they were called?

These coaches can surely increase their value and the more it looks like Dak is a system QB the less 2014 looks like an anomaly.

Dak is getting a crash course in dink dunk and protect the football as we speak. We Will run the ball, be conservative and keep it close until the 4th quarter.

The problem is close games are won by the team with the best QB or the elite defense. Unless Dak is a true rookie phenom we will have neither.

I've seen this movie before.

If the coaching staff limits Dak to dink and dunk, they need to be replaced. The dude has the skills to get the ball down the field. Turning him into Weeden or Cassell 2.0 is a complete waste of talent. The benefit for Dak though is that if things don't start turning around soon, he may not have to have his whole career spent with a coach that is learning the game.

We found out last season what Garrett is made of going 1-11 with three backup QBs. Dak is going to make plenty of rookie mistakes so we're going to have to lean heavily on the run and hope the defense looks a lot better than what we've been seeing. If Dak is put in a position where he has to do what Romo has had to do over the years for us to win games, it's going to lead to a terrible season unless he's something incredible special. It's going to be difficult overcoming our defense with a rookie QB if we're having to outscore opponents every week.

Russell Wilson had success as a rookie because Seattle was able to scale things down offensively while he learned because they had a great running game and and the best defense in the league. If he had run around all day attempting 35+ passes each week having to score 24+ every Sunday because their D couldn't stop anyone he would have had a rough start to his career and may never have developed into the solid QB he is today.

The only coach we've had since Jerry took charge that we can judge on their merits was Jimmy Johnson.

And that is only because Jimmy told Jerry to go <bleep> himself. <Cough> Contract.

Look. The NFL is a cash cow. And Jerry is the Cow King. Its as simple as that.

How can a franchise that has had basically zero success over the last 20 years STILL be #1 in Revenue and have
a Billion Dollar stadium?

Its because Jerry is the Cash Cow King!!! Still milking the never ending line of cockold Cows for their cash.

From events that occurred in the far distant past. That he had almost no hand in creating.

From a team in the late 80s and early 90s built by a man that he fired to get out of his way.

How is something like this even possible? Because. The man is a Cash Cow God.

Join Jerry's Cows. Or not. It really is up to YOU!!!

I for one. Am tired of hearing about it. Just do what you want.

Didn't Garrett show everyone last season exactly what he is made of? 1-11 without Romo needs no further explanation. The guy blows as a head coach.
