We get a new coach, are we changing the offense?

I would certainly hope so. The Ravens tailor their offense to Lamar, the Lions to Goff, the Bills to Allen, etc. It’s obvious you should tailor the offense to what your players are best at.
Lineman, Garrett, Moore, McCarthy, ??, etc.....

There isn't an offense Dak can run against good defenses.

right keep it simple, and work what's best for Dak!
I'd go with what best for the team.......roster decisions should be permissible to any reputable coach, scheme, and day-to-day function regarding on field actions........unfortunately, Jerry doesn't allow that. It's not a question of catering to just Dak. Next yes man up.......Kellen Moore.

I mean the Cowboys were number 1 in the NFL for multiple seasons in a row. That was also during the dark period where they lost every single game that they didn’t score 30.

For context on how weird that is Mahomes, Brady, Allen, and Lamar all had highly rated offenses but had multiple games a year where they won 17-13 or 9-6 against the Packers, in the case of the Chiefs.

Having a great offense doesn’t mean they will be great every week. There are going to be week’s where the defense is going to have to keep a game close. That is just the NFL.

There’s only so much you can do with Dak.

He limits the offense so much that I don’t think things could be THAT different.
I think they *could* be different, but Dak won't like it, so Jerry will see that it doesn't happen.

There's a reason a lifelong WCO coach had to go halfway with this "Texas Coast" nonsense instead of installing the offense he's run his entire career.

His "deer in the headlights" stare in the fourth quarter is the best--he does that very well.

Post of the morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is it really that bad for him to try something new, I mean at least give it a chance, he's got to be tired of throwing curls, and lining up in the shotgun so much. Never mind, this is what he likes!!! Uhhhhhh
Have you seen what happens when Dak tries hitting a guy in stride? There is a reason from Garrett, Linehan, KM, Mike all use the same lame routes. Moving targets are harder to hit and Dak just can not do it consistently. How many times does he over/under throw a RB jogging to the flat? This is why we see so many 10 yard curl routes or guys who run to and sit in 1 spot.

I will say one byproduct of this season is the added exposure of the "clown show" in the front office. And if/when MM is not re-signed/let go, it will be interesting to see the coaches that will want to come to DAL and those who bypass it for other opportunities or staying where they are if they are already in a good position (eg Lions, etc). Obviously, DAL is a storied franchise with a great past reputation, but when you're a coach, you want/need that autonomy to make the decisions you feel will make you/your team successful. JJ mainly looks for "yes" coaches that are on the out and looking for work or NFL records vs ones that can come in, make changes as they like, and create a new way forward towards success. Will be telling to see which direction they go but probably not anything surprising.
