What can you show that says Rush is a better QB than Dak? Show me anything that proves it......Does he have a higher Comp% does he have better redzone % 3rd down average? What exactly can you show anyone thats proves anything that says when they are healthy Rush is a better QB? So you dont like Dak..Ok that doesnt all the sudden make Rush a better option..lol you guys are ridiculous. Every thing about the passing game will be better with Dak throwing the ball....Just as it would if we had Josh Allen current play throwing it over Dak...this really isnt a hard concept to follow...
The games show we're 4-1. 4-0 with Rush, 0-1 with Dak.
I don't watch the stats.

Wins are a stat tell me what you like about Rush that he is better than Dak at.....Dak has alot more wins so that argument is done.

I'm sure gonna be expecting there to be fall off a cliff improvement between Dak and Rush offensive performance in particular against say, the Packers, Philly's and Giants second game and Vikings.
I'm surprised at how some are so in need of style points stats.

The past behavior of QB1 has been good to excellent stats against not so great competition with wins while struggling against harder teams and lack of wins. With 2 poor teams coming up after this one it's looking to become that again.

I've seen that before. I know how it ends.

The only thing left to prove is will he get over himself or not at the expense of winning games by doing it how Rush did it.

That's really the only unanswered question left. IF he can swallow his ego so that the team can win.

Gonna be fun.

His ego? that is your spin, you guys leach on to crap and spew it like it is fact. Don't pretend to know Dak or his mindset. If he plays good have the gut to say so, if he plays poorly call him out.

He has played poorly in the past against better/playoff level competition. He has played well specifically when this division was weak in the past.

There is absolutely no need to try and undermine his backup by publicly implying how much better he could do. That's his mindset.
He needs to get over what only he thinks he is. Period.
And hopefully not at the cost of my team winning ballgames.

Dak Prescott is not Jason Garrett 2.0

Garrett on game day was a liability even at his best

dislike Prescott as much as you all want the man is A Top 10 qb and the reason so many people are harsh on him is because hes a cowboy
Not top 10 that’s already been debated and definitely not top 10. Maybe 12 or 13

They cant...they want to say its Dak calling 90% shotgun plays because that fits the narrative, when again anyone who has ever played organized football knows no player is out there making it up as they go along...its been 3 years if you cant see what KM likes to do on offense then there is no helping them. "But he audibles out of..." again never been in film sessions during a week leading up to the game...these tales are not just hapenstance they are plained for schemed all week there is no way the OC/QB are not on the same page all season for 3 seasons on what they look for to audible to a run/pass at the line. Imagine thinking the OC/QB dont talk all week and just show up on Sunday and play a game.....

show me what Rush does better than Dak.....thats not publicly doing anything its asking a legit question. Why would i start the backup over the starter once he is healthy? Tell me what the offense is doing that says we should.

Not exactly sure what you are getting at but most Cowboys head coaches have been puppets. Jerry only hires someone with a good resume when he absolutely has to.

Biggest complaint I had with Garrett is we could never build off one season to the next, it was always 1 step forward and 1 step back. I think Garrett is 2016 was a very good job, winning coach of the year honors and in my view rightly so considering we relied on a Rookie QB and produced a very good season. Yet the following year just as before the team failed to make post season, we could never string seasons together and build off of them
2016 was upsetting in a weird way. In my opinion based off his record previously he should have never gotten the opportunity in 2016. He should have been let go after the 2015 season. He did well in 2016 and his "rope" as a coach so to speak was reset.

The teams performance in 2014 granted him another year, but he took a step back in 2015 and based off of what happened (Romo going down, having been injury prone for the previous two season) He should have had a plan in place to overcome losing Romo. 2015 was unacceptable. If he could have managed 8-9 wins okay, but only 4 (3 of which were with Romo as the starter).

I think he reads d's better and sticks more to what his OC sends in concerning run plays by not audibling. I think the new conservative approach under Rush, ie running more, better suits the defense, field position and special teams identity this team has evolved into.

IF Dak could play conservative and not force pass happy ways as has-been his past behavior, the team can succeed.

I'm not willing to sacrifice wins for a bunch of stats just because the masses want style points, stats and less boring offense.

Now what does Dak do specifically better than Rush?
And no, running is no longer the obvious starting point.

To a large extend I agree, Cowboys must remain balance in their offense, use both run and pass when Dak returns to the lineup.

I find it interesting that Rush can play the position under center. Does that mean he can read the defense faster and doesn't have to have a 4 to 5 yards separation to give him time to read the defense?
His release time would indicate he knows where to go with the ball faster too.

Defined by cerebral approach
Has bachelor of science degree in actuarial science off-the-field and masters in full-field reads on the field
Juggernaut in film room
Hits the field with well-conceived plans of attack based on his studies
Makes all the pre-snap decisions rather than looking to sideline
Quick processor able to scan and decide rapidly
Interceptions rarely the result of poor decisions
Overcomes arm deficiencies with outstanding timing and accuracy
Anticipatory thrower with feel for developing windows
Able to lead receivers on crossing routes and long balls and can throw receivers open underneath
Very good natural accuracy
Completion percentage penalized by excessive drop totals
Good pocket poise
Climbs pocket with eyes downfield when heat comes around the corners and can slide left or right before delivering accurate strikes
Has history from under center in play-action, pro-style attack and works all three levels of the field
Dump-downs are only a final optionxc

wow

All we heard from Garrett apologists was that he always had the #1 offense, or at least top 10.
It didn't matter that we were 8-8.
Now it's the same argument - big stats, but not winning. Dak Prescott is Jason Garrett 2.0.
Cooper Rush doesn't rack up huge stats, but we're winning.
I'll take winning.
oh, wait, I thought Kellen Moore was a HOF type QB...according to you and Tashard Choice was a better RB than Emmitt Smith.

what the heck does Garrett have to do with Dak...but then again in a drunk persons mind it all must make sense

btw, the defense/special teams was responsible directly for 9 point (10 if not for a missed PAT). offense scored all of 13...yeah lets chat about garrett 2.0...then again in a drunk persons mind things always make sense

The defense is finally getting help in tough ball games from the offense. They're doing great, but please tell me you're not so naive as to think Rush isn't helping by moving the ball down the field repeatedly?
Field position alone is a big difference.
hmmm, the defense is getting help...so defense scores a TD off of a turn over...that's getting help from offense. please explain?

Yep. I left out anticipation/throwing receivers open. It is rare when you would ever see Dak throw a ball "before" a receiver has obvious separation. Rush seems to consistently trust and throw prior to receivers completing the route/break.

But ya know what the funniest thing of all is and you said it in an earlier post?

How did we ever go from comparing this 160 million dollar franchisee QB from Mahommes/Rodgers to a 7 year journeyman practice squad QB?

That, in and of itself, seems to be flying over the heads of the Dakota cult.

In other words, this discussion shouldn't even be taking place.

Man, is Coop underpaid I tell ya, lol.
