What games are you watching? The last 3 games, only two teams have fewer first downs than Dallas, and only two teams have more punts per play than Dallas.
The voice of reason! Salud!

I think you aren't accounting for Rush's accuracy or his poise under pressure when you try to distinguish between the two.
It doesn't matter if Dak can throw further if he chokes and/or makes bad passes.
how do you measure Rush's accuracy...so far, in their career Dak completion percentage is 66.4 and Rush is 61.3%

tell me more?

But ya know what the funniest thing of all is and you said it in an earlier post?

How did we ever go from comparing this 160 million dollar franchise QB from Mahomes/Rodgers to a 7-year journeyman practice squad QB?

That, in and of itself, seems to be flying over the heads of the Dakota cult.

In other words, this discussion shouldn't even be taking place.

Man is Coop underpaid I tell ya, lol

What can you show that says Rush is a better QB than Dak? Show me anything that proves it......Does he have a higher Comp% does he have better redzone % 3rd down average? What exactly can you show anyone thats proves anything that says when they are healthy Rush is a better QB? So you dont like Dak..Ok that doesnt all the sudden make Rush a better option..lol you guys are ridiculous. Every thing about the passing game will be better with Dak throwing the ball....Just as it would if we had Josh Allen current play throwing it over Dak...this really isnt a hard concept to follow...
its the old Eye Test....biased eye test that is.....he has no proof, just that he is an expert...you know Lee once led a youth t-ball team in the intramural league (6 and 7 year olds) to a division championship. he actually gloated about that, and said he knows more about leading people to victory than anybody else because he has done it.....not a joke. for real.

All we heard from Garrett apologists was that he always had the #1 offense, or at least top 10.
It didn't matter that we were 8-8.
Now it's the same argument - big stats, but not winning. Dak Prescott is Jason Garrett 2.0.
Cooper Rush doesn't rack up huge stats, but we're winning.
I'll take winning.

Garrett only had a top offense because we had Romo and Prescott to make up for his offensive philosophy. When he went to New York, it showed how bad that philosophy is.

We're winning with Cooper Rush because we are playing great defense, first and foremost. That is something we rarely had under Garrett.

Again, too much emphasis is being put on the quarterback position here when it comes to wins and losses.

I think he reads d's better and sticks more to what his OC sends in concerning run plays by not audibling. I think the new conservative approach under Rush, ie running more, better suits the defense, field position and special teams identity this team has evolved into.

IF Dak could play conservative and not force pass happy ways as has-been his past behavior, the team can succeed.

I'm not willing to sacrifice wins for a bunch of stats just because the masses want style points, stats and less boring offense.

Now what does Dak do specifically better than Rush?
And no, running is no longer the obvious starting point.

Literally throws every pass better than Rush, Style points? how bout we just start with regular points that would be ok. Again you say he reads a defense better but have nothing to back that up...not one thing, and now Rush calls the plays? please explain to me how exactly Dak is the one calling 90% shotgun plays before this? make it make sense because i have actually played this game and understand how gameplans are done...its not just up to the QB...again you literally are saying Dak for 3 years has just thrown away KM's plays and is calling what he wants on the field...you really think thats happening?

One doesn't equal the other.
Just because we punt doesn't mean we don't move the ball enough to change field position first.
Stats lie; the game doesn't.
agreed. the game doesn't lie. the defense and special teams scored 9 points. or is that just a stat to you?

Defined by cerebral approach
Has bachelor of science degree in actuarial science off-the-field and masters in full-field reads on the field
Juggernaut in film room
Hits the field with well-conceived plans of attack based on his studies
Makes all the pre-snap decisions rather than looking to sideline
Quick processor able to scan and decide rapidly
Interceptions rarely the result of poor decisions
Overcomes arm deficiencies with outstanding timing and accuracy
Anticipatory thrower with feel for developing windows
Able to lead receivers on crossing routes and long balls and can throw receivers open underneath
Very good natural accuracy
Completion percentage penalized by excessive drop totals
Good pocket poise
Climbs pocket with eyes downfield when heat comes around the corners and can slide left or right before delivering accurate strikes
Has history from under center in play-action, pro-style attack and works all three levels of the field
Dump-downs are only a final optionxc

wow

Are you serious? wow this write up is so unique on a QB how in the world did he clear waivers 5 times?

so now you're a scout too. lmao
here's your man crush's scouting report.
Pocket poise has been compromised
Hyper aware of pressure around him and lacks awareness to slide and find temporary shelter to make throw
Concern over pressure too often trumps ability to get through progressions
Must speed up the pace of his reads

wow, that looks like what we haters say, we must have written that.

but you're a scout too. His report is true now like it was when it was written.

shot gun for the slow readers. I won't say he's dumb, because he got paid a lot for a guy who's Brett Hundley.

If you really don't think it matters to the defense whether or not the offense can move the ball and at the least change field position, you don't know football.
We had 100 yards of offense last game. That's not moving the ball down the field.

Actual professionals or scouts or GMs know nothing. Jimmy Johnson, Kurt Warner and Aikman all know nothing in their critiques of SleepNumber either.

Dis credit a CZ opinion is all good but these other guys got just a wee bit more cred than the pro Rayne cowd here.

I wouldn't have started saying crap about dak again if it wasn't for all these backhand compliments of Rush. I was content in letting the crazy homerism of dak, but then they have to start complaining about wins. A win is a win, but they are not happy unless they try to discredit Rush because of their homerism of an average quarterback. sheesh.
No wonder everybody hates Cowboys fans.

he plays in preseason games with backup, I don't think you're that uninformed.
