Again this isnt rocket science you play the better QB when healthy...If we had Josh Allen then i would play Josh Allen over Dak you know because he is better its really that simple.

I know and again how did the better scouting report clear waivers 5 times..again those scouting reports are not unique, if they said this guy sucks he would not be getting scouted. Against the Rams, the Cowboys had 10 offensive drives.
Three were 3-and-outs that netted a TOTAL of 10 yards.
Three were 4-and-outs that netted 5, 10 and 19 yards.
One was a 6-and-out that netted 14 yards.
There were two FG drives of 35 and 53 yards, and the TD drive that was one big running play.

If you really don't think it matters to the defense whether or not the offense can move the ball and at the least change field position, you don't know football.

You're absolutely right about this. But that is not at all what the Cowboys offense did against the Rams.

Or against the Commanders: the Cowboys' six non-scoring drives netted -4, -1, -1, 1, 1, and 34 yards.
If there's one thing the Cowboys offense is not doing consistently, it's moving the ball and changing field position.

The Cowboys are 28th in yards per drive and 27th in plays per drive (and 25th in points per drive). That is not an offense that is helping the defense by giving them rest or better field position.

You know, this stuff is really easy to look up. Or you could just watch the games, where it's incredibly obvious.

The Cowboys haven't played a first five games, defensively, like this in 50 years. To his credit, Rush hasn't screwed it up.

I enjoyed watching the DEFENSE score 6 points, and then the OFFENSE MOVE INTO POSITION for the field goal.
I watched the game. It was great.

I watch the game, and I haven't seen Rush overthrow wide open receivers on key plays.

I realize the defense is the main key to the wins, but I think the game planning is better with rush at qb.
Running more passing only 16 times, that all goes away when dak comes back.

I wish dak was starting against the eagles, but he isnt Rush gets that big task.
