The guy knew how to get separation. Yeah he wasn’t a star but he got open - more so than Ferguson who rarely creates space. Beasley is another example of a good route runner who was always open.

Dak desperately needs another pass catcher that can create at least a couple yards of separation in Zone or 1:1 coverage

Tolbert isn’t quick/explosive enough, cooks is old, Ferguson is typically blanketed and CD is being doubled.

As Troy Aikman said, they need better route trees. Can it be more the scheme than the players? Maybe a little combination of both.
Or are the route trees limited because of the QB's? Does the lack of a run game have anything to do with it as well. They do not respect the run, so a defense just needs to focus on the pass game first.

More like 5th or 6th. Tucker Kraft is more productive than Schoon and he went in the 3rd and was the 2nd TE Green Bay drafted that year.
