We should sit D. Ware

He is clearly playing injured and it's not like we're going to stop anyone from dinking and dunking their way down the field with him playing hobbled.

Let's rest him for a few weeks and get him back to 100%.

This is almost unthinkable but after the last 2 games of barely anything out of Ware.. I have to agree with you.

Hes just not an every down player anymore. Hes a situational player.

This seems to be a yearly thread now for him lately. If this is the Ware we have now, we need to find his replacement and fast.

it was MORONIC to play him last year in that last game. Just plain STUPID. Frankly right now its almost as bad. Sit him and let him heal if possible. Not like our D is going to miss him right now.

And then trade him

You play 16 games they don't have the luxury of sitting him a few weeks. There are a lot of players who are not 100% but you play. This is not baseball.

Our Dline and pass rush stink. Ware is still the best option we have. Hatcher is hurt too now.

Ware must play.

Our defense is an unmitigated disaster. I predicated an 11-5 season based on their improvement.

I think we will be lucky to win 7 or 8 now.

I'd rather get him right then trot out this D. Ware.

He is clearly not himself. Sit him and get him ready for the home stretch. He won't impact a game in any way with the shape he is in right now.

I would rather none be hurt at all but this is football and reality This teams can't just sit guys and go with what? Depth is an issue as is so now we take a key player and sit him and hope like hell the season is still there for the taking? No Thanks

His name is too big to sit here in Dallas.. even if he is not 100%. You know how they run things here.

Ok well I disagree because the D Ware that we're trotting out there isn't going to make a difference either way until he is healed up.

He's been an shell of himself the last 2 games.

Ware is a shell of himself at this point but there really is no way to sit him. Injuries are mounting up and some are going to have to play through them. I am dumbfounded as to why the coaches were counting on Spencer, Ratliff, Ware to actually stay healthy to start with. This after losing Brent and Crawford before the season got underway. It is little to late to address the line now, not much out there to sign.

These next two games(division) will dictate how this season unfolds IMO. If you can play with a little pain, suck it up and get out there, take some pain shots, drink some whiskey, something, just get out there and play.

If after the Wash game I see Ware continue to overrun plays letting RGIII just slip by his side or half-arsed rush attempts, then my stance might change. These next two games are imperative, there is a good chance we fall to third looking up with some tough games to follow and even more injuries to face.

I don't think it is even an option at this point to rotate him, who is there behind him that is better than a 50% Ware? Wilber?

Name has nothing to do with it. there is little depth as is, sitting Ware and going to backups is not a solution.

He is not himself because he is over 30 years old, tired, and has lost his burst. The shoulder/neck/whatever injuries have absolutely nothing to do with it.

You talk as if we have backukps to spare. We don't this year. It's a M*A*S*H unit.

He will never be 100% again.

One of these weeks I'm expecting him to see a specialist and soon after calling it quits. I hurt for the man.

This cant continue.

He's playing so bad for his standards that I would rather let him recover and get him healthy for the rest of the season.

This D Ware is very average.

Trot him out there and get average play or sit him a few weeks and get the best Pass Rusher in the league...? hmmmm

He was a 100% a few weeks ago until he got a neck stinger. He looked good until the San Diego game and now he just looks like a whimpered pit bull.
