He is clearly playing injured and it's not like we're going to stop anyone from dinking and dunking their way down the field with him playing hobbled.

Let's rest him for a few weeks and get him back to 100%.

Absolutely.

This team is clearly 5-10 players away from being better and the defense is going to need the majority of those players in this new scheme.

Ware is getting beat up every season.

Charles Haley ended up out of football with his back problems.

Ware is clearly going down the same road.

So not only is Spence and Ratliff gone but Ware is fading fast.

The coaches can only do so much with castoffs and poor scheme players.

Sit Ware.

Like it or not..it's a rebuilding yr in the NFC East.

Let's get on with it.

When a guy clearly isn't right and his performance is suffering as a result, I find it tough to go with the suck-it-up crowd. If the guy is hurt and still so much better than the remaining alternatives, sure we can weigh that a bit differently. Such is not the case here. DeMarcus is doing well to get on and off the field right now.

To suggest a course other than rest at this point is quite humorous from where I stand. The reasoning that Ware must go only because we can't afford to sit him I find to be just as amusing. That really isn't a solution because if rest is the ticket, I would much rather pull him for two games and gain a revived pass rusher going forward as opposed to the walking dead we have come to see against San Diego and Denver.

There is tough and then there is stupid. I don't put this on Ware because he is doing what any standout professional would do given the circumstances. This should be about what's best for the club and the player. Playing him in his current condition because the alternatives are nil isn't really a sound plan.

And the state of said alternatives is likely the result of shoddy planning.
