Flowers was overrated from the beginning. 4-3 DE's who are slow off of the snap don't have a ton of value. Russell in the 5th was better value for a similar SDE type player.

Yep hes a 3-4 run stopper. No use on this defense.

Give this man child a Training Camp, if he makes it through healthy Chaz Green will be a versatile addition. If not the 7th rounder looks like Parnells replacement.

Plus nobody expected Collins....and Gregory, well that "turd" looks like it's going to float.

Clemmings would have been a good pick in the 3rd round and a better pick than Green.

Clemmings would have been insane pick in the 3rd. La'el and TJ both had 1st round grades, Collins falls b/c of ex-girlfriend murder and Clemmings fell b/c of injury concern. Cowboys could have had FOUR first rounder falling to them in this draft.

Clemmings is all kinds of nasty too, reminds me of a more athletic Columbo. Former basketball player and DE is great athlete too, has feet, long arms and quickness to play LT too although his experience is at RT. Way better prospect than Chaz Charmin Green.

Thank you, I was attacked for days for saying we could have gotten somebody better than Green in the 3rd round. Finally the voice of reason.

Green woulda still been there in the 4th. Flowers would have been a steal at the end of the third round. He's gonna be a player. Too late now though. He went to the Patriots.

Flowers is not that great. We should have used our 3rd on a running back.

I would have been okay with Flowers in the third, but if (if) Chaz Green does end up turning into a good pick then the O-line is flat out set for years. Nothing wrong with focusing on keeping Romo upright.

Of course they don't agree, otherwise they would have chosen Clemmings over Green. Time will tell who's Brass was better.

Totally agree Clemmings was a better choice in the third round. Green was a 6th round graded player. We could have gotten him much later.

It works the other way too. Randy Gregory was a steal at 60, right? But wait...how do we really KNOW what other teams really thought? Let's all just wait and see and have no opinion. Unless it's positive. In that case, by all means...have at it.

Green was a definite reach to me. By at least two rounds.

With Hardy, Gregory, D-Law, and Mincey I am not sure that DE is that big of a need anymore. He would be our 5th DE by the end of the year..., whatever.

So, were the five offensive linemen taken between the Cowboys' 3rd and 4th round picks all ranked as third or fourth rounders? How about the Olinemen picked right before the Cowboys' 3rd round pick? Did no other team pick someone not ranked appropriately by the media drafters in those rounds?

Obligatory request for lottery numbers......

Can only speak for Green-see posts above-2 round reach.

I love how people complain how the media is crappy, lazy, never watch tape, etc... and then live and die by their prospect ratings lol

But in Kiper God trust
