Comes down to a divisional tie breaker......I think we get in w/ a 5-1 record:lmao2:Anyway....the Jets are gonna have a big say in our division. Who can beat the Jets is gonna be the difference to get to 8-8:)

I don't think the Cowboys go 3-4 with a healthy Romo. If they can manage to be 4-5 when he gets back like your scenario says, at worst I see them at 8-8 with 9-7 being just as likely, but thats just my opinion.

Yet another opportunity slipped be the wayside last night, but even with Cassel throwing 3 interceptions, and them getting a pick 6, we still weren't outclassed. The same will be true for the next 3 games without Romo...

The Cowboys are 2-4, but are still top-10 in both offense and defensive rankings, and are still #1 in the NFL in Time of Possession. As underwhelming as our run-game has looked this season, we are still 7th in rushing yards per game.

Seahawks - Loss...
Eagles - Win...
@ Bucs - Win...

So I think we'll win 2 of our next 3 and be sitting at 4-5 when Romo returns. The problem hasn't been the scheme, and we've still been able to move the ball a lot of the time, but we've not been cashing in on those yards with TD's... Bryant might be back as soon as next week, and even without Romo, having a healthy Dez could really help us get in the endzone more... Once Romo is back, the offense will be back on track.

@ Dolphins - Win...
Panthers - Win...
@ Commanders - Win...
@ Packers - Loss... We win the rematch in January...
Jets - Win...
@ Bills - Win...
Commanders - Win...

The defense is legit and should get better, and we know that with Romo and Dez our offense is legit. So far since Romo's been out, our defense has generated 0 turnovers, while we've turned it over 7 times... Despite losing the turnover battle quite disproportionately, we still had a good chance to win those games... Romo wins those games, like in week 1 vs the Giants, but Romo also wouldn't have this many interceptions to begin with...

What would our record realistically be if Romo and Dez had been healthy? Most likely 5-1, give or take a game either way... Based on what we've seen in these games, that seems to be a reality... When Romo and Dez are both back, turnovers will go way down, and touchdowns will go way up. We're already #1 in Time of Possession, but I'd expect even that should improve by 4+ minutes per game... The defense has played really good, especially lately, and I would think that the law of probabilities comes into play soon and we finally start getting a few turnovers, even if it's only by dumb luck...

From what I've seen, we're a really good team that will start on the upswing soon... When Romo and Dez are both back, I think we might be the best team. The improvement of the defense is huge for us! Having Hardy is huge for us! We will soon be the most balanced team in the NFL... Balanced between run and pass, and balance between offense and defense... The combination of the offense and defense should be good enough to suffocate the mediocre teams led by mediocre QB's, which is most teams on the Cowboys schedule after Romo gets back...

We will only lose two more games this season, 10-6, book it!

All those stats where the Cowboys rank and stuff are meaningless if your not winning. The Cowboys will win 7 to 8 games this year.Injuries are part of the game, but they weren't prepared to win any games if some of their key guys went down.Maybe they'll address the Qb,Wr,and RB situation in the offseason.

Man, I just have a feeling if we drop our 5th straight this week, we're going to start hearing about rifts in the locker room or something and the wheels might start coming off this thing.

Every game after Romo and Dez are back is a winnable game. You basically have them losing against every decent team. Miami is an average team. Carolina regardless of their record are not a great team, they're good. The Jets are merely a good team also. Green Bay is the only one of those the Cowboys should be underdogs in. At worst they should split those 4.

Current division records are:

Cowboys 2-1
Eagles 1-2
Giants 1-2
Commanders 1-1

We play Skins twice late in season. If we don't win both games we probably don't make the playoffs (considering we also play Packers, Panthers, Jets, Bills and need to basically run the table when Romo returns). So we should at least have 4 wins in the division. Depending on the Philly game in two weeks, we'll either be 4-2 or 5-1 in the division. I'm not saying it's a must-win but it would be a very important win because it would guarantee us having the best division record at the end of the season.

The Giants are 2-2 in division

I'm right there with you bro. I can see 9-7 as a good possibility and it will be enough to win the division.

One thing people aren't really grasping is the amount of pressure that is being placed on other phases of our team without Romo & Dez out there. You name it.. Run game, defense, special teams... They are all playing under incredibly higher pressure without the big dogs. This situation will serve us well when the big dogs return soon because other phases of our team will have become more solidified. Add two stars returning with chips on their collective shoulders for having to watch this all go down and you have a total team that every other in the NFL will be afraid to play. Real talk.

Love the optimism but the bacon is starting to pop...losing Romo was just to much. I hope you're right and I will be cheering either way just don't see it right now.

I think we can beat Seattle. There OL is terrible and hopefully with our pass rush we finally get some turnovers. Just can't turn the ball over ourselves.

Even if the pass rush does gets there. Wilson usually gets away.

Just like he did last year right?

Hardy is one of the best contain players in the league.

He's not gonna be undisciplined and allow him to break contain.
