I'd actually love it.

I will even give you the text book line if it happens:

"With all the injuries and losing Romo for 8 games Garrett did an incredible coaching job getting us to 8-8." :flagwave::clap:

The Giants are 2-2 in division

You're right. I forgot to count the most recent Giants-Cowboys game. All the more reason to win the Philly game. The tie-breaker scenarios would get complicated if we both finished 4-2 in the division (plus the 1-1 head-to-head record). It would probably resort to conference record in which case NY would have the edge. So let's beat Philly.

We're still not out of it. Lets just for fun assume that we lose to Seattle and beat Philly and Tampa Bay. Now lets assume the Giants beat the Saints and Bucs and most likely lose to New England and then have their bye week.

If we beat Miami while NY is on their bye we would be 5-5 and NY 6-4. One game and 6 to play. We would be fine. No reason to panic yet as things change drastically from week to week in the NFL

I don't think we're out of it. I think 9-7 wins this division. I'm just saying it would be great if we could beat Philly because that would assure us the division tie-breaker (assuming we sweep Washington). It would suck to finish at 9-7 tied with NY and/or Philly and lose the tie-breaker.

My opinion is we could be anywhere from 7-9, to 9-7. Nothing would surprise me this year. We will not sweep all our games once Romo comes back. As much as last year was a great surprise how well this team did. This year is the great surprise how ****** they have played.
Injuries are just that, injuries. But this team, F.O. and Coaching staff have all struggled to hold any semblance of a game plan together.
If we lose this next game to Seattle, this will test the will power of them all. Because this fan base will be out for blood at 2-5.

So we are going to run the table when Romo comes back?

Would love it, but I just don't think it is realistic. Even with Romo, we got some hard games coming up (Carolina, Green Bay, Buffalo, Jets, ect...)

Geez..

Folks it's over for this season. The football gods have spoken. It's just not our year. By the time tony comes back we will be 2-7 or 2-8 depending on when he comes back.

6-10 at best if we get lucky in a game while Romo is hurt

See, I just don't understand why you would think like that... Again, what would our record be if Romo and Dez were healthy? Most likely 5-1, 4-2 at worst, and I think this is something almost all of us can agree on... So if we had been 5-1, that would put us on a pace to go 13-3, which isn't unrealistic for a team that won 12 games last season and went undefeated on the road... And if that's not unrealistic, then it's also not unrealistic that we resume that winning pace once Romo and Dez are both playing again.

By the way, there's no way we'll be 2-8 when Romo comes back, because if he doesn't start in the Miami game Nov. 22, then I highly doubt he'll be ready just 4 days later on Nov. 26... But you can forget all that, Romo will be ready against Miami, and we wont be 2-7!

Seahawks - I'm guessing this will be one of only two more losses this season...
Eagles - The Eagles offense is even more pathetic than Dallas' has been, but Dez should also be back for this game... Their offense vs our defense, trust me, we've got their number right now...
@ Bucs - The Bucs have allowed 31 or more points in 4 out of 6 games, they're worse than us by a lot... Should be a win...

Then that brings us to Romo's return at 4-5, 3-6 at the worst... I see the Panthers and Dolphins both being tough games for us, but I think we'll win both of those, for the same reasons I think we'll only lose 2 more games all season... Again, the defense has really stepped it up, and it looks like they're still on the upswing... Once Romo gets back and the defense and offense can both lean on each other equally, we'll be very tough for anyone to beat...

The Romo led Cowboys will face mostly mediocre teams with mediocre QB's, they will all suffocate under the weight of our ball control... Watch, with Romo, our Time of Possession will go from an already best in the NFL 33+ minutes a game, to best in the NFL at 36+ minutes a game... And when you only give the other team 23+ minutes of clock to score enough points against this defense, it will prove to be too much for most teams to overcome...

We have an elite QB, an elite WR, an elite TE, a top-10 running game, and a legit top-10 defense, how many other teams can say that? Again, we were 12-4 last season, and with Romo and Dez back, I think we're actually better this season, mostly because of Hardy, Lee, Jones, and Gregory being added to the defense...

6-10!?! Come on buddy...

We are a pretty large home dog against Seattle.

-6

Lose this game and the season is over. People need to come to grips with that reality. You ain't coming back from 2-5.

7-9 wins this division...book it. I've already did the leg work for you. All you gotta do is read it.

We would have to actually beat Philly and Tampa.

Carolina, NYJ, and GB are 3 really good football teams. They'll have to win 2 of those 3 games. Meaning in the other 6 games (Sea,Phil,TB,Miami,Was, Buffalo) they'll have to go 5-1 to give themselves a chance to win the division in week 17. Unfortunately I think its too tall of a task, that choke job against Atlanta really hurts.

I think the Giants and Cowboys both win 10 games, but the Giants will lose the division to the Cowboys who will finish 5-1 in the East... I think the Giants will also miss out on the WC to Falcons/Panthers and Seahawks/Vikings... Eagles and Commanders will both be 7-9... That's what I think...
