I see 6 wins if we're lucky, but hey, less spots to move up for a QB.

Just like he did last year right?

Hardy is one of the best contain players in the league.

He's not gonna be undisciplined and allow him to break contain.

The lions had a good pass rush vs seattle this year. He got away from it a lot.

We are a pretty large home dog against Seattle.

Lose this game and the season is over. People need to come to grips with that reality. You ain't coming back from 2-5.

Not true in the East. Lose this and don't start winning, it's over. But they could lose Sunday and still be half a game back of the division lead in 3 weeks. That's far from over. Go Eagles though.

In this division you can.

Eagles have a bye and New York plays at New Orleans who is on a two game winning streak.

Would still only be a game back in the loss column.

IMO, someone is getting to 9 wins in this division.

If we lose to Seattle, we are 2-5 meaning we have to go 7-2 over our last nine. I think that's pretty close to impossible IMO. They have to win this Seattle game and get to 3-4. 6-3 is a lot more doable IMO than 7-2.

this is a bad team they play like one find every way that's possible to lose games when tony went down the season was pretty much over its nice to dream but unless the team improves in how they play games and do things to win games they will continue to lose. garrett wont be fired regardless of the record but some other coaches and players may right now this team looks like a 6 and 10 winner last in nfc east.

This team will not win 5 straight games, or even 8 out of the last 9 games. They will win one of the next 3 games, and put the pressure on Romo to win the remaining games on the schedule, which he will not be able to do.

If Dallas loses to Seattle, the season is over (it kinda already is imo, but, for the sake of argument, I'll concede there's still a chance). Dallas has lost 5 games in a row only 3 times in 26 seasons:
1989: Rebuilding. No one expected much
1997: Team lost last 5 games as Switzer's last season unraveled very quickly. Coach fired.
2010: Team lost 5 straight after going 1-2 and losing Romo in week5, Wade lost the team, and was fired after 1-7.
2015: ??? Doesn't look good. Bad teams lose 5 in a row regardless of injuries and the schedule.

If this were to go down...That Commander loss might be Ginger's last as the Cowboys head coach

No way is Jerry firing him with Romo and Dez out for a big portion of the season. Not happening!

Don't think we lose to the Dolphins or Panthers, but I wouldn't be surprised if we lose two of the next three.

I think the way our schedule is set up, we could go 6-1 to end the year and possibly 7-0 if everybody is healthy then. So one victory in the next three games keeps us in it. No victories in those games would be difficult to overcome because we would be forced to go 7-0 to realistically have any kind of chance.

Yet another opportunity slipped be the wayside last night, but even with Cassel throwing 3 interceptions, and them getting a pick 6, we still weren't outclassed. The same will be true for the next 3 games without Romo...

The Cowboys are 2-4, but are still top-10 in both offense and defensive rankings, and are still #1 in the NFL in Time of Possession. As underwhelming as our run-game has looked this season, we are still 7th in rushing yards per game.

Seahawks - Loss...
Eagles - Win...
@ Bucs - Win...

So I think we'll win 2 of our next 3 and be sitting at 4-5 when Romo returns. The problem hasn't been the scheme, and we've still been able to move the ball a lot of the time, but we've not been cashing in on those yards with TD's... Bryant might be back as soon as next week, and even without Romo, having a healthy Dez could really help us get in the endzone more... Once Romo is back, the offense will be back on track.

@ Dolphins - Win...
Panthers - Win...
@ Commanders - Win...
@ Packers - Loss... We win the rematch in January...
Jets - Win...
@ Bills - Win...
Commanders - Win...

The defense is legit and should get better, and we know that with Romo and Dez our offense is legit. So far since Romo's been out, our defense has generated 0 turnovers, while we've turned it over 7 times... Despite losing the turnover battle quite disproportionately, we still had a good chance to win those games... Romo wins those games, like in week 1 vs the Giants, but Romo also wouldn't have this many interceptions to begin with...

What would our record realistically be if Romo and Dez had been healthy? Most likely 5-1, give or take a game either way... Based on what we've seen in these games, that seems to be a reality... When Romo and Dez are both back, turnovers will go way down, and touchdowns will go way up. We're already #1 in Time of Possession, but I'd expect even that should improve by 4+ minutes per game... The defense has played really good, especially lately, and I would think that the law of probabilities comes into play soon and we finally start getting a few turnovers, even if it's only by dumb luck...

From what I've seen, we're a really good team that will start on the upswing soon... When Romo and Dez are both back, I think we might be the best team. The improvement of the defense is huge for us! Having Hardy is huge for us! We will soon be the most balanced team in the NFL... Balanced between run and pass, and balance between offense and defense... The combination of the offense and defense should be good enough to suffocate the mediocre teams led by mediocre QB's, which is most teams on the Cowboys schedule after Romo gets back...

We will only lose two more games this season, 10-6, book it!

Seattle-Loss
Eagles-Loss
Tampa-Win
Dolphins-Win
Panthers-Win
Commanders-Win
Packers-Loss
Jets-Loss
Bills-Win
Commanders-Win

8-8 Book it.

They will lose one of the games between the Jets or Panthers. Best case scenario would be 9-7. Would that be enough to take the division? Might be.

Comes down to a divisional tie breaker......I think we get in w/ a 5-1 record:lmao2:Anyway....the Jets are gonna have a big say in our division. Who can beat the Jets is gonna be the difference to get to 8-8:)

Looks a little like the NFC South last year
