It's not my fault if certain internet providers are posting conflicting information, but I totally agree with accurate accountability. My apologies if I've been wrongly informed.
I wouldn't have a problem with you being uncircumcised, but not after you condescendingly tell me to get MY FACTS STRAIGHT. No need for that. We are just shooting the **** about the Cowboys.

I get everyone's responses, but how are you going to learn and improve if you don't even step on the field even 1 time? So we used a costly 3rd round pick to contribute next year in 2023, not this year? Is this what 3rd round picks today are supposed to be used for even though we need the help at WR right now?

Exactly, a costly 3rd round pick. 3rd round picks should be future HOF and immediate all-pro's.

Cowboys used a costly 3rd round pick on WR Jalen Tolbert. Fans were told Jalen Tolbert was looking great and would be a big part of this 2022 Cowboys offense.

We're in Week 8 and at the end of October. Where is Jalen Tolbert? He's been inactive most of the past 7 games. When is he going to play and be a part of this season? The Cowboys offense is struggling, has several receivers injured and is in need of some help.

Where's the beef? Where's the help? Where is our costly 3rd round draft pick?

There's a reason he's a third-round draft pick, and one of those is those players aren't often ready to contribute right away. Sometimes they don't even pan out at all. Through his first six games of 2018, Gallup, also a third-round pick, had only caught more than one pass in one game (where he had two catches). He had barely more than 100 yards receiving at that point.

And Gallup would be considered the exception to the rule. Jordan Palmer, taken in the third round by the Chargers, last year didn't catch his first pass until Week 8. Amari Rodgers for the Packers caught four total passes as a rookie last year. Anthony Swartz for the Browns had 10. Nico Collins for the Texans and Dyami Brown for Washington were the only immediate contributors out of that third-round group as receivers.

At least they all caught some passes by that point. How many passes has Tolbert caught?

Not all of them had. Only a couple. That's the point. Gallup's rookie season was on the upper end of what can be expected of a rookie third-round receiver, and he only finished with 33 catches in a season where we started off without a true No. 1 and not much at No. 2.

Agreed. Frustrating thing is Washington won't be ready for another 2 weeks. He has yet to see the field this 2022 season due to training camp injury.

But, Jalen Tolbert? Why can't he get on the field even for 1 play? He's our costly 3rd round pick. Heck, even an undrafted WR in Dennis Houston was able to make the team and play the first 2 games even though he was cut afterwards to create another roster spot for another position in need. Yet, Tolbert has remained on the 53 man roster but stayed inactive?

That's horrible, especially when our receiving crew needs help.
Obviously the staff just feels he’s not ready yet. Some players take longer than others as do some positions. Like I said, he’s a rookie from a small school. Big jump to the NFL.

He’s a rookie WR. The vast majority take a year or two to develop. Give him some time for crying out loud.

Looks like a good chance that he plays this week with Brown being injured.

Don't you think he will plays this week since Brown isn't practicing?

Cowboys are very patient and careful with development of players, see Joseph, Williams, etc, Tolbert will be a player but probably in year 3.

Let's hope so. Being inactive for most of these first 7 games is not reassuring of his 3rd round selection, especially when we've seen an undrafted WR play the first 2 games.

While the draft is always a would have, could have, should have event, there is debate surrounding the selection of Tolbert with the #88 overall pick when you look at some others:

Seattle took CB Tariq Woolen #153: he is 6' 4" 210 pound athletic CB that fell to the 5th round and all he has done is 17 tackles, 3 INT's, 4 PD's, 1 FR, 1 blocked kick

Houston took RB Dameon Pierce #107: an underused RB in Florida he has 86 carries, 412 rushing yards, 13 catches, 53 receiving yards, 3 total TD's...which is better overall than Zeke

They have a deep roster and the team is doing fine. Washington is pretty much ready, they are saving him right now. They also may bring a guy like Mims in as well. They are in decent shape and know what they are doing.
