Weekly Aikman is Biased Thread *merged*

As much as I hate to say this, he is doing his job well. He works for FOX now and he needs to be unbiased!

I wonder if Aikman is still bitter about being released at the end of his career. I am greatful for what Aikman did for the Cowboys but he really does act like he hates them.

When Burress hit K. Davis after one play in the first half he tried to bail Burress out by saying maybe the whistle didnt blow. Dude come on everyone else was standing around while other players unpiled, then Burress goes over and smacks him.

Thats just one small example, but maybe he doesn't like Jerry Jones or the way he runs the team. I don't know but I hate it when Aikman does our games.

Wasn't he singing praises for the Cowboys when they were playing well?

Buck is the evil one, not Aikman.

every game Aikman calls for us someone always cries about how he calls the game.Damn, let it go.Aikman will always be a Cowboy. He just tries too hard not to sound like a homer.

Yeah, I don't get this sentiment. Aikman was super critical of the Giants' lack of discipline. He can't openly root for Dallas in the booth. He has to be fair, which he does.

There's a lot of Aikman hate going down today... I don't think the guy is anything other than an objective observer. When the Cowboys look like crap he says it, when they don't he says it.

it obviously irks people that Aikman wont be more outwardly "pro-Dallas" during the games...but he is paid to be impartial, I think he probably tries a little too hard to be impartial, but when he's interviewed off FOX he is more positive about the team

Exactly. And it is quite annoying. Relax Aikman...

We should sticky one of these after every game Aikman does of the Cowboys.

It might save us (the mods) the trouble of merging them.

Yes, and he was the ringleader of the post game show during which the Giants were praised and the Cowboys went kind of unmentioned. Everybody, including Creepy Uncle Joe, seemed really excited about the Giants and their chances -- after their 4th loss in a row.

:hammer:

Actually, I think Moose, Dick Stockton, and the Goose are better than buck and aikman.

Aikman needs to shut up. he is an over explainer and over talker. he talks right up to the snap.

Aikman, be the master of silence occasionally, and let the game come to us please. you don't have to talk all the time
