Wentz is better than Dak in some things at this point

No we won't. We have no way of knowing for sure what Dak does against Minny's defense, with Philly's offensive around him.
You want 4-3, you can have it. I'll take 6-1, don't care who the QB is. But right now, it's Dak. How you like me now?

I like the guys we have as well including Terrance Williams. I respect the job the defense has done they play hard despite the fact they need more talent on that side of the ball. Philly does have that talent on the defensive side. So while Wentz faced a defense who struggles to get to the QB Dak was playing a defense who ranks 3rd in the NFL in getting after the QB.

Yes he did. And in the end he did a great job.

But he has help that Wentz will not have. It's easier to do better, down the stretch, against the better Philly defense when you've got Dez, Zeke, Williams, Witten, Beasley.

The fact that our average defense, with basically a non-factor pass rush, is able to hold Wentz in check shows you just how horrible his offensive options are.

If he you trade the skill position players out and Dak has to come from 10 down with Sproles, Ertz, and the popcorn vendors that Philly employees at WR you might see Dak have a lot more trouble as well and have to rely on 3-5 yard dump offs all night.

Thankfully he doesn't have to cause the Cowboys put pieces on this team that he can use.

Lol. This comment is hilarious. This team won in spite of him? Who led the charge in the 4th to tie the. Who led the team 90 yards in OT and ran for a critical 1st down on 4th and 1? Who kept plays alive with his legs? Who was that guy? Scandrick?

Who competed less than 50% of his passes, threw a pick in the end zone, almost a 2nd, missed two open TDs to Dez, went 3 and out 3 times in the 4th quarter, and was overall bad at throwing the football on Sunday? Scandrick?

Do you think the Cowboys are a better team than Philly, outside of the QB spot? A simple yes or no should step this particular back and forth.
I think based on them having a superior pass rushing attack, and a superior special teams, we're equal.

How did you feel about Troy's rookie season then?

52.9 QB average 1,749 yds, 6.0 average per yards 9 tds 18 interceptions

That he was a rookie.

On a horrible team with pretty much zero talent.

I saw Aikman play in college. He'd proven he knew how to play QB at a high level. I wasn't stressed out by Aikman at all.

I'd dare say that Aikman, even as a rookie, would have faired far better with the offensive supporting case of today then what he had in Dallas his rookie year. A busted up Michael Irvin and....well pretty much nothing else. Their one weapon they got rid of in order to help actually put pieces around Troy.

I guessing you were rooting for the loss. I'm sorry that didn't happen. That's what happens when your QB has lower parts, where was Wentz's lower parts?

SORRY. I only care about what matters. WINS. If you like Wentz so much go cheer for Philly. If dak leads this team to the playoffs and wins rookie of the year it won't be enough for you.

Wentz has a defense and special teams where he literally didn't have to score a point to beat the vikings and they held the steelers to 3. I don't want to hear about 'not having enough talent' when Russell Wilson has worse options and is still winning. Wentz has the formula, which is an elite defense and passable offense, that took teams like the Seahawks, Broncos and Panthers to the superbowl.

HOw about Aikman's 3rd year. 2,754 yds, 11 TDs 10 INT? He had a great supporting cast at that point. You do know that Dak has 9 TDs already right?

You aren't even reading what I've typed out - just more tribalism - "Our guys are the greatest or your'e not a real fan! Go cheer for another team if you disagree!"

Dak is having a GREAT rookie season. I love the guy. I just don't see the point in pretending he wasn't bad on Sunday.

Wentz absolutely has the better defense. I don't dispute that.

It doesn't change the fact, in the least, that he doesn't have the weapons on offense that people are trying to claim are about equal.

If you feel Wentz is better be my guest. I think he is a good QB and will get better I don't think he was worth giving up a 1st, 2nd and 3rd to get him. Also I don't see anything in him greater than Dak. His arm motion which was mentioned several times needs work as he drops the ball down making a loop as he is coming forward. I also know no one was giving Dak a snowball chance in hell to do anything this season or this team and he has proven people wrong and they cant' seem to handle that after all their agenda is more important that actual results on the field. I watched 3 different QB last season fail and a rookie step in there and get the job done.

Dak has much work to do I do not doubt that for a second I also know a big part of the game for a QB is the 6 inches between the ears and Dak is showing he has the mental toughness to play this game and raise his game even vs top rated defenses.

Wentz has a stronger arm, Dak runs better. Dak is also a smarter QB.

I had no issue with Aikman ever. They were a team on the rise, he was improving year to year. He also had some injury issues but I felt like they were starting to show some signs with Emmitt being there and showing to be special already and Irvin clearly back from a bad knee injury.

I have no issue with Dak, or his play. You'd know that if you bothered to read things on the forums instead of worrying about your agendas. I am quite impressed with Dak. I think he's far better than I ever thought he was going to be and at this point I do believe he's going to be a better QB than Wentz. Time will tell on that.

But at this point they are not on equal footing when it comes to supporting cast, no matter how many people want to believe they are to prop up even further what Dak is doing.

I don't need to prop it up even further. It's propped up just fine by how good he's doing.

He was bad. And in overtime and when it mattered he buckled down. Went almost perfect on 2 drives to beat our division rival and take a 2 game lead in the division. Wentz went home on a plane with a L stamped on his forehead. Dak is a leader of men. It's quite simple. Has been since he started his first game in a Mississippi uniform with 0 talent around him. Wentz as of right now is a 1 read qb like Weeden was for us last season. If we are just judging the Philly game. If we are judging all season. Prescott has Wentz beat in every stat that matters. So your argument makes zero sense.
