It doesn't bother me that you do it. Its sickening. But it doesn't bother me. I'm just wondering why are you even a Cowboy fan at this point? Why not become a Eagirl fan and join the bandwagon. Are you waiting for them to go 10-0 or 16-0?

Yes, it clearly doesn't bother you.

Hey, do you want to talk about how the Steelers would destroy Dak? I can go into detail.

It won't be the same defense. The Bears got hammered with injuries on Monday

I agree, but even with the injuries, there's now two full games of footage on Dak, and he will have to adjust to certain exotic blitzes and packages. Vic Fangio is no slouch.

And, as was stated in a separate thread, those bootlegs that Dak has been executing beautifully will be increasingly harder to pull off as D's anticipate them more now. I don't doubt for one second that Dak will adjust and still hit his targets,

I do want to see some touch passes on those intermediate and long routes, and I think we see some of that this Sunday :)

The Bears stink. That defense is bad and to my knowledge their secondary is young but a bright spot and they will still be there. Guys got hurt but let's not act like its first tier guys.

I think the Giants were a tougher test for him. And when all is said and done this year I expect their D to have a considerably higher rank than the Bears. And Dak opened against the Giants, so he'll be more comfortable after a few games and the opportunity to break down the film and fix his mistakes. And now with the injuries, I think we will be looking at a breakout game for both Dak and Zeke.

I completely agree that that Giants D is leaps and bounds better than the Bears. What Dak did week one (and week two) was marvelous.

There's just more footage now of Dak, and CHI's D coordinator has that footage of him and a full week to gameplan that tape.

Regardless, I agree that Dak and Zeke both have breakout games (tho, Dak has already had two) :)

Wentz is a notch above as long as he continues to mature like he should. With that said Dak is a great value as a 4th round pick.To make it work were going to have to part ways with Romo at the end of year and use the cap money to build an elite defense. I'm a huge Romo fan but he's fragile at 37 and we don't have the defense to win it all right now.

It's funny how Wentz does less statistically and against lesser opposition than Dak, but he's hailed as the real deal, and future elite qb, but Dak is the dinking and dunking game manager that we need to pump our brakes on. Somehow Wentz is considered 'more accurate' despite Dak having a higher completion percentage. Dak is considered a dinker and dunker despite throwing for 100 more yards in around the same amount of attempts in game 2.

I'd like to switch the receiving corps and see how each would fare. Dez doesn't drop those easy in the hands TD passes of Wentz (3 of them in 2 weeks).

some of those passes were just a hair short or late arriving

They're pretty similar actually. 0 turnovers which is the most impressive stat to me since they're both rooks.

Wentz hasn't had to play against a defense like NYG and his defense has destroyed both those terrible offenses in Cleveland and Chicago.

Dak's rating against Wash was higher than either of Carson's games, and his YPA in that game was a full 2 yards better than Carson's best so far. Carson also only averaged 5.3 YPA against Chicago but with that defense i don't think they were really trying to do much.

The most impressive difference right now is that we had a 59% 3rd down conversion rate against NYG, in Dak's first game as a pro. 50% against Wash. Eagles were 33% against the Browns, and 40% against Chicago. We're 2nd in in the NFL in 3rd down conversions, that's pretty amazing.

Let's switch coaching staffs and give Dak a coaching staff that doesn't lose every single game without Tony Romo as the starting QB despite trying out 3 different qbs.
Give him a coaching staff that doesn't relegate him to being MiniCassell/MiniWeeden in week 1 and give him a defense where there's very little pressure on him to score on every drive. Also, let him play the Cleveland Browns as opposed to the New York Giants.

The coaching staff has its flaws but how they are handling Dak isn't one of them.

That can't be stated enough. Carson had short field position all evening on Monday. Made his job so much easier. And the offense for Cleveland was equally non-existent against his Eagles.

Dak has had to play catch up in both of his games, no small feit for our rook... and he's looked poised and confident in both outings all the way down to the wire.

Give this kid that Eagles D and the load is considerably lighter on his shoulders.

Look - I really liked Wentz and wanted him. Dak has been impressive. If Dak is the future and its starting now, The Eagles-Cowboys will be the number NFC East rivalry. Two young QB's growing and battling for years to come.

I'm talking about the passes that literally hit both hands of the receivers. There were two that were touchdowns, and a third that probably would have been...at the least a long gain.

Even I want to just roll with Prescott. Not because I think he's better. I just don't believe Romo is capable of staying on the field.

Maybe we can bring him in as a drive closer. We get to the red zone then bring in a QB capable of throwing a TD pass.
Ouch.
