Well, they did almost lose to Washington. Unfortunately, almost doesn't count as a loss.I found a power ranking today that had us AHEAD of philly!!
I can absolutely understand not believing that it is likely. San Fran's topped us the last two times we've met in the playoffs, is 4-0 and is looking solid. I have a hard time understanding no chance. There is always a chance.Unfortunately yes sir.
Philly has our number???? How aren't we 10-1 vs Them ?I think this is a little over dramatic. I wouldn’t disagree we’re better than Kansas City. I think dallas has the edge over them in general. As a team though Philly has our number, and they will be a team we NEED to beat this year.
For San Fran it’s about how great of an overall game they play. No dumb penalties will be how they avoid shooting themselves in the foot!
What grown man uses Pound Town ? That got you ignoredBottom feeding for 3 out of 4 weeks. San Fran will take Dallas to pound town.
Neglect to mention that the #1 cause of concern most people here have is our Red Zone Productivity? Before the Arizona game the offense wasn't much of a concern for most. The last two games, is a cause of concern that we can't hang with the likes of San Fran.I'm just trying to make sure I follow the logic rules of those who say we have no chance against San Francisco next week. I assume that's partly based on the fact that the 49ers beat Arizona 35-16 this week while we lost to Arizona 28-16 last week.
By that logic since Kansas City barely beat the Jets (23-20) this week and we drubbed New York 30-10, then we have to be a couple of touchdowns better than the defending Super Bowl champs. And since we clubbed New England 38-3 and the Eagles squeaked by the Patriots 25-20, Philly should be afeared to even get on the field with us.
We actually also have one-up on the 49ers with our 40-0 victory over the Giants because San Fran only beat them 30-12.
Now again, this is not my take on things. I'm an any given Sunday guy, but if we have no chance against the 49ers because of what they did Sunday to Arizona, this season is looking pretty bright for us in the division and even in the Super Bowl, if we face the Chiefs. Of course, we'll need someone to knock off San Fran for us to get there.
It should be a cause of concern. It does not mean we have no chance of beating them.Neglect to mention that the #1 cause of concern most people here have is our Red Zone Productivity? Don't think that there is no chance of beating them. I just think that they are in another tier right now from the Cowboys. I hoping the cowboys prove me wrong. This was/is the big measuring stick game for me at the beginning of the seasons. The last two games, I am less confident and think that the 49ers are the better team.It should be a cause of concern. It does not mean we have no chance of beating them.
We're 3-1 with a monstrous point differential. It does not take much mental gymnastics. He is just demonstrating it for a specific comparison. That's a lot of mental gymnastics to make yourself feel better.
I'll wait until we beat them.
I think we're on the same tier but more likely to play like we're not. If we play our best and San Fran plays their best, it's a toss-up IMO. These are two very good teams.Don't think that there is no chance of beating them. I just think that they are in another tier right now from the Cowboys. I hoping the cowboys prove me wrong. This was/is the big measuring stick game for me at the beginning of the seasons. The last two games, I am less confident and think that the 49ers are the better team.
The only thing with the eagles is that they are not playing their best ball.. so they are toughing out games right now and they will either get it together eventually, or they will falter down the stretch when they play tougher opponents. Time will tell.I think I sorta agree with this thread Title. That said, its not who's the best in early October, its who's the best, and healthiest come December. Its a marathon, not a sprint. Anything can happen. Even if we lose next week, its means little other than its a loss. Things can peak or valley later, for a variety of reasons.. Call me crazy, but I am a firm believer that a team can peak 2 early and lose their edge come December. The Eagles and Niners come 2 mind. I like exactly where this team is at. We are in the catbird seat.
100%. The chances of blowing teams out in the playoffs is unlikely, but we need to prove we can actually win close games , which is what we will see in the playoffs. That's why saying we are better than the philly and cheifs and niners is stupid right now .We definitely have a chance against San Francisco, but we’re not better than KC or Philly until we prove it. Those two teams have proven they can win knuckle busters this season. We got into a knuckle buster against an average team that’s lost three games this season, and they dominated us. The only games we’ve won have been in blowouts. We have to prove we can come from behind and withstand a real challenge that comes down to the fourth quarter.
Rams up next for them. They could get exposed.Let me say this......I saw Mac Jones against the Eagles and he looked damn good. I saw Howell against them yesterday and he looked good. But based on what I saw from Mac Jones yesterday? Eagles has some serious issues on defense letting Kirk Cousins in primetime and Mac Jones torch them up.
Does that mean we automatically win the Super Bowl? Because I'm ready.
I found one that had them ahead of us.I found a power ranking today that had us AHEAD of philly!!
