Well then, I guess we should just forfeit that game, rather than wasting all that time out in California... just treat it like a bye week...
I mean, who could hope to match up with those mighty Raiders?? This is a team that ranks 31st in the NFL in rushing offense, ALL they have is a passing game... ought to be REAL tough to game plan such a one-dimensional offense... it's also a team that ranks 29th in total defense, giving up nearly 395 yards per game (393.7)... they have given up an average of exactly 300 yards per game passing thus far this season... meanwhile, the Cowboys rank 5th in passing offense...
Now, why on earth would you be so terrified at the prospect of facing such a team, son?? Yeah, they can throw the ball, and yeah, the Boys have proven to be vulnerable to the long pass... at the same time, by now the Cowboys' staff KNOWS Oakland's capabilites, as well as their weaknesses... it also looks as though the Cowboys ought to be able to move the ball fairly easily on them, which means that they have the proverbial puncher's chance of winning in a shootout...
Are you in hurry to be the first one on your block to quit on the Cowboys, pal?? I am somewhat sickened by the defeatist attitudes I've been reading in here (not just from you) today...
Let's say I hope the Cowboys don't share your mindset... I'll take it a step further than that-- I wouldn't want you on any team I ever played on, if you give up THAT easily... I understand all about setting low expectations, so that you're not disappointed if the Cowboys DO get hammered, and you're pleasantly surprised if they win, but to say they're gonna take a "hellacious beating" is rather disgusting...
