Really, well if you have children you would understand..I dont think its approprite to curse and use abusive language in front of children, maybe you do but I dont. That has nothing to do with being a rival its abou class and tact. I have never expereince this at any other arena or venue but Philly

they hear it anyway, probably from their own parents during games

people are way too hung up on language

I've never been to Philly, so I can't compare, but I have been to Oakland and I was wearing my Dallas gear from head to toe......

I had a guy with tattoos on his face and arms tell me he was going to murder me like the Raiders were going to murder Dallas. I think I am alive today because Dallas lost that game. It was a few years ago when Bledsoe threw a bomb to Glenn to set up a chance to score from like the 5 yard line and we ended up losing.

Walking out of that stadium, I took so much verbal abuse, it got to the point that if I could have fought someone one on one I would have umped at the chance.

They are nasty out there in Oakland.......nothing is off limits.

I was at that game. A guy wearing a Darren Woodson jersey got stabbed a few rows away from me. I've never seen a worse collection of white trash/thugs anywhere in my life.

That is the first opposing stadium I've been to where I've actually been afraid for my well being!

Well, it could be a little worse. The last Cowboys game I went to was in 1999 at Texas Stadium when the Cowboys played the NY Jets. We lost by a point, and Aikman couldn't connect on a scoring drive at the end of the game.

All the fans got heckled by a bunch of Jets fans...at Texas Stadium on the way out! They were yelling "moo" as the crowd moved away from the stadium towards the parking lots. I think everyone was too dejected to even pay them any mind.

Oh I try, no doubt but it slips out more often than I would wish even around my five year old.

One funny thing that happened though, was Raider fan on Raider fan crime, lol.

There was some drunk radier fan yelling at raider fans for not cheering loud enough and another guy stood up and turned around and told him to shut up(much more graphic), well when he turned around, the drunk guy threw a full beer at him but missed and hit what looked like a 6 foot 5 inch native american guy wearing a raiders shirt and a black felt cowboy hat......the beer hit the big dude in the back of the head, he slowly stood up and turned around......

The only thing that saved the drunk guy from getting the beating of his life was a security guard that escorted the drunk out of the stadium......

That was funny.

The good thing about The Linc is that you can get nitrous balloons in the parking lot.

I have great control, especially with the pressure that my in-laws give me knowing how much I love to swear, so I dont want that thrown at me I wait for them to slip up and then Wham-o, I lay it on them pretty thick, and when the kids arent around i would make a truck drive blush heheheh.Go Canada ! see the Canadiens tonight what a Game 3-2 over the Pens, ITs the drive for 5 baby ( under 18 ) championships great hockey

Overrated.

Buffalo is a much tougher stadium to go into.

Philly fans are jerks and will throw beer at you, but in the new building they are not bad at all.

True.

If you are a young to middle aged man who looks like you can defend yourself in a fight then the worst you will get from Philly fans is some verbal abuse.

They are only "tough guys" with women, children, and the elderly. I have been to Dallas/Philly games wearing full Cowboy gear and I didn't get my *** kicked.

As they should be.

It's called RESPECT, you know treating others as you would want to be treated.

People are too hung up on that virtue. ;)

So the kid should have been wearing COWBOYS regalia. Duh! What kind of care provider are you?
I have no simpathie for yew.

Lemme fill in the blanks for you, hoss-- "the kid" is of Italian descent, stands 5-10 and at the time weighed in the 280-290 range... one of those guys whose freakin' calves are bigger than most peoples' thighs... if he was three inches taller and 30 pounds heavier, you'd be talkin' the perfect NFL nose tackle...

And since he grew up in McLean, an affluent suburb of DC, if he wants to wear a Skins jersey, well, I'm not about to try to take it off of him... I've run into him on a pick on a basketball court too many times already, don't feel like trying to knock down a brick wall...

He's also the most easygoing guy around, to the extent that he was good-naturedly exchanging high fives with the Cowboys fans around us when things did not go well for his boys... the folks in my section all decided he was OK...

booohoooo, so they used some unprintable language, big deal. thats why its called their house and that might even explain the word rivalry. If you can't deal with it, stay home.

That's how I see it. I've encountered far worse at college football games. There's definitely more bitterness from the Eagle side on this rivalry but with their history they have pretty good reason to be bitter. If the shoe were on the other foot with the Eagles being the far more successful organization and having lots of fans in Dallas then an Eagles fan would have a tough time going to Texas Stadium.

I tell people that I'm a west Texas boy, and we're the best cussers in the world... I explain that we don't use any words they haven't heard before, it's all in the creative way we string 'em together...

Then I explain that a good west Texas vulgar rant always starts out the exact same way-- "you miserable, rotten..."

just watched the Canadiens game, I taped it on RDS, woohoo.

As for the jr team, it is like shooting fish in a barrel, at home, best team, they only lose if they choke

Interesting.

I know me and my cousin were surrounded by Eagles fans at Texas Stadium in 2004 and they didn't say anything to us.

....I think it's clear why they didn't try to start a fight.
