As a wise man once said, "Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer."

But, you're probably right. Closet Cowboys fan.

Dude, he's gotta be. He spends more time on our board then most Boyz fans. I don't get it. No way in hell would I be on a FORESKINS site like that. Why would I be? Its unbelievable!!! Oh for sure, he LUVS that Blue-n-Silver....

After thinking it over for a few hours...nobody.

Henry and Tnew come closest, I liked how Crayton was coming on, and I'm happy with how Ellis and Glover have adapted to what there is of the new scheme...but there are no players to my mind playing consistently very well.

OK, so exactly when HASN'T Newman played very well this season?

He barely allows any completions or yards, he has intercepted passes, he has forced fumbles, he has sacked the quarterback, he has made big tackles in the running game, and he has made a touchdown-saving tackle on a receiver who caught a pass against another player.

If he's not playing "very well," then you're demanding outright perfection.

I totally agree with Adam...I watch alot of games every week and its quite possible that Newman is playing better than any CB in football right now, if he isnt #1 he is very very close...alot of games teams rarely even try his side of the field, and if teams are avoiding you that much it means 1) either you are real good or 2) the other guy is real bad...since we know Henry isnt really bad (in fact he is pretty good) it must be the former

right now I think Newman is a slam dunk for the probowl and will probably get serious all pro consideration if he keeps up this level of play

In my humble opinion Newman has been the most consistent player on the team.

How come nobody has mentioned Keyshawn? Last time I checked he is catching the ball, scoring TDs, and running middle routes.

In no particular order:

Bledsoe
Ware
Keyshawn
Roy
T. Glenn

The Good:
TNEw
AHenry
Witten
Ware
Ellis/TGlenn

The Bad:
Flo's knee injury
Crayton's ankle
Al Johnson
Marco Rivera
Keith Davis

The Ugly:
Red Zone Offense with a lead: Still trying to figure out BPs logic with staying the game to give the team a chance to win at the end of a game. Bill were winning the damn games.

Defense in the last 4 minutes of the game

Jose Cortez - Adios!

First down playing calling

BPs left jab.

I dont know where your getting the Gross stuff, he's been pretty well documented as a disappointment at best...was not worth anywhere near the draft pick and money they used on him

David
Had a strong rookie year, struggled his second year when switched to left tackle and has apparently played well this year after being moved back to right tackle.

I guess I am. I'm demanding it of Terry too. Both are playing damn well, but I'm thinking of Ty Law in his prime and Marvin Harrison every darn year terms.

Sorry, but that's what 'impresses' me.

Plus I should think there's enough devout man-love for Tnew around here, posts sprouting up defensively every time Anthony Henry is lauded, or incessant 'well, what about T-New?' whining for the monumental insult of his not yet getting my HOF vote to pass unchallenged.

6 New Orleans Johnathan Sullivan DT Georgia
7 Jacksonville Byron Leftwich QB Marshall
8 Carolina Jordan Gross T Utah
9 Minnesota Kevin Williams DT Oklahoma State
10 Baltimore Terrell Suggs OLB Arizona State
11 Seattle Marcus Trufant CB Washington State
12 St. Louis Jimmy Kennedy DT Penn State
13 New England Ty Warren DE Texas A&M
14 Chicago Michael Haynes DE Penn State
15 Philadelphia Jerome McDougle DE Miami

These are the ten players picked after newman in the '03 draft. I'd like to know which of them you would pick over Newman.J/W

Leftwich - we would have our QB

Williams - would not have had to pay Ferguson

Suggs - could have been rushing the passer for us the past two years

Trufant - up until this season has been playing at, if not outplaying, Newman.
