From what? You weren't quoting me.
I was somply jumping in, just as you did with the poster you did quote.
I like it when I somply jump...that is hard to do!

Autocorrect.
Or fat fingered and failed to autocorrect.
The trainee argument has already been disposed of and it sounds like you need to refresh yourself of the context again. Other than that, the argument is very much like the Romo choker argument. Which is to say, the issue is massively overblown and not very accurate.
I don't really care if and when the label gets erased. I just want him to concentrate on building the team. If the defense improves, fans will immediately forget what they were complaining about. That's the nature of fans.
Nothing is disposed of just because you say it is, I hate to break that news to you. In the media and among most fan sites on the Internet, both Romo and Garrett have a reputation.
Garrett and Romo are "labeled", fairly or unfairly, its just the way it is. Now you can pretend that is not the case all you want, but it is what it is. Only thing that will erase that is winning, especially in the playoffs.
You and me both know that.
Hey, I'm just pointing out the actual quote that you keep taking out of context. It wasn't disposed of because of anything "I" said.
You keep saying in multiple posts that I am taking things out of context and intentionally misrepresenting what was said in conversations with other members.
First, I didn't realize little old Beast was in your head that much that if you feel the need to invalidate my opinions to others.
Second, I am not misrepresenting jack. I took Jerry's quote as he said it and it is you that put an interpretation on it that it referred to a 7 yr process of evolving. Just because others don't share your opinion or view doesn't mean they are "intentionally misrepresenting" anything.
I just don't share your interpretation or take your opinion as fact.
Just because I point out a misrepresentation, it doesn't follow that you're in my head. Jerry's quote is in the thread above. It's not really subject to misinterpretation, either. He's clearly talking about the path to a Superbowl winning head coach. There's no gray area.
Care to make an actual argument of your own? Otherwise, it's kind of boring listening to you say I'm wrong just because you say so.
Unless Garrett suddenly catches a clue on how to manage a game / clock his chances for COTY are zero. They do not give the award to coaches who cost their teams an average of two games a season with beyond stupid clock management. Actually I can't believe someone would even start a thread like this!
A lot of people don't think the head coach has cost this team an average of 2 games a season, lol, either. Not that anybody's saying Garrett's a likely candidate for COTY, either.
If Dallas wins 11 games with this schedule as "strong" as it is (based on 2013 results) and this defense (based on 2013 results)......he definitely will deserve votes. But somehow, just like Romo, I feel that JG will get shortchanged by our fans and voters.
